We are heading out Thursday night, and will be driving straight to the circuit for Friday morning. Extra special for me this year as its my birthday on the Sunday. Hope one of the BMW teams give me a nice birthday present and win, although having been out brands hatch last weekend I think this year is too early for the M6.
I don't know, the M6 has filled the top three slots for VLN3 this morning, pole a shade under 8 minutes! They certainly have the pace, if they manage to last the race it will have Marcedes and Audi worried.Good to see Manthey mounting a serious challenge again, and there really are at least 20/25 cars that could win the 24h this year.
Map to help you get around the Ring here:

Most of the main spectating points are on there. It's my website.

Same, that 3:30am alarm will hurt for sure. Also booked in with Travel Destinations for camping.
Not sure the BoP board will react to Frikadelli's ultimatum, certainly judging by VLN laptimes the 911 GT3Rs are a touch off the pace but not sure 5s in a 480s lap worth such a dummy spit.
Frikadelli are back in, apparently with a new BOP. Might be enough for them to challenge for the podium. Not sure the BoP board will react to Frikadelli's ultimatum, certainly judging by VLN laptimes the 911 GT3Rs are a touch off the pace but not sure 5s in a 480s lap worth such a dummy spit.
Lots of possible winners this year, should be a great race.
Good to hear they're back, would've been a shame otherwise. As far as I've read the GT3Rs got a 1mm bigger restrictor after the last VLN race, is that it?
Today have a backyard strewn with camping gear that I don't think has seen the light since Bathurst 12hour in 2011!
Looks like being a bit of a damp race according to the forecast, fingers crossed.

I'll be leaving at 4.30am tomorrow, hopully be there in time for first qualifying.
Camping is usually ok, a bit more civilised in the GP circuit campsite with toilets/showers etc, but nowhere near as much fun! Not sure about this year though, the forecast is rain all four days with a few thunderstorms for good measure.
Every year I promise myself that I'll book a room at the Lindner for next year, but haven't managed it yet!
Manthey win looks possible, they certainly aren't holding back with their drivers but I'm not sure they will have the pace, they were a way back in the VLN last week.
