What was going on with Matt Neal's dance when he got out of the car? Is he trying to emulate Alonso wacky celebrations I wonder?

I'll lay odds that was some 'bet' with the guys in the team.

Anyway, what was with the traffic...we missed the first race completely because it took us 1hr 20 from the M1 to the car-park!!! And we 'cheated' by cutting thru Silverstone village...others said even longer in the main queue. Queueing from over a mile before the A5.

Why was the grid so far back compared to when the circuit is used for the Grand Prix? It seemed that only the first four cars were starting on the straight whereas the rest of them were on the last corner.

Because that is the grid positions for the National Circuit I believe.

I also just wanted to say well done to Tom Ferrier and Paul O'Neill. clap Cracking drives from both!

Call me cynical, but did they really need a safety car period to clear the track at Beckets in the third race or did Alan Gow think the field was getting a little to spread out...? scratchchin

My mate and I had just walked up into the Luffield grandstand when Mike Jordan went into the wall in front of us. Was glad to hear the good news later in the day.

Hi there,

Spent a few hours in the fog at Silverstone yesterday for the final round of the British Touring Car Championship.
It was qualifying yesterday with the final three races taking place today.
I took loads of pictures and have posted most of them on my website.

Please take a look using this link (there are three pages): -

Sadly my camera broke halfway through Sunday so I didn't get as many race shots as I wanted. Plus I've had to buy a new camera for Donington this weekend as mine won't be fixed in time!
