Being a Virgin Media customer with their XL TV package I wouldn't mind one bit if Setanta got F1! biggrin

I wouldn't want Sky to get it as I don't want to subscribe to a channel just to watch F1. At least with the Virgin Media XL package Setanta is included in the price.

I'm sure Sky show ads during MotoGP (when they had it) & WSB?

Didn't subscribe to Sky Sports as it seems to be 15 channels of football.
like eurosport, gets to the good bits of a race and bang come the ads...........madfurious

i have no doubt bernie wont allow the coverage to go to a pay to view chanel.

come on itv, do the decent thing and get murray back, sack the "cock" and cancel emmerdale, sat night takeaway etc and with the money saved give decent coverage to f1, bsb, btcc......

also wouldnt hurt for a terrestrial channel to try and get world supers back..........

I think Bernie has always insisted in the past that F1 coverage should not be broadcast (or solely broadcast) on pay channels like Sky, so I don't think he'll ever give it to Sky.

I hope not anyway, I have Sky and although it would be nice to have a pay-per-view option for a whole weekend race without adverts and to see all the practice sessions etc too (as was available a few years ago with "Bernievision" PPV coverage) and maybe in HD in future, I would not want to be forced to pay an additional £17 per month it costs for Sky Sports over my current package just to see the F1.

There are rumours that Bernievision will be bigger next year. Make of that what you will.

Would be nice to get out of the dark ages and have F1 available in high definition - we're lagging behind terribly in that respect - it looks amazing in HD believe me.

I vote for Sky!

That was horrible when I had to go back to terrestrial TV when Bernie pulled the plug on our digital, all the practice sessions the in-car choice, the commentry, the stats and other stuff, it was heaven. Give it back Bernie.

Got to say it would be nice to have F1 in widescreen, let alone HD wink

I used to enjoy the PPV "Bernievision" - you used to get the Porsche Supercup race etc as well...
