Maybe Ron cry-baby Dennis should pull out of the fast lane aswell.
Make way for someone fresh who wont wobble at title winning moments or leave drivers out on canvas tryes. Im old, but I cant remember McLaren without Dennis.
If you were to look up the McLaren years without Dennis, you would see that, starting in 1966 from a hole-in-the-wall near Heathrow, the team won two F1 Drivers' Championships, one F1 Constructors', five Can-Am Championships, and two Indy 500s. Most teams would have loved to have had such a record, even if now some people cannot remember it.Make way for someone fresh who wont wobble at title winning moments or leave drivers out on canvas tryes. Since Ron took the helm, they've won seven more Drivers' titles, seven more Constructors', Le Mans 24 hrs, plus all the winning that they did this year.
Not bad for a wobbler.
If someone else could do even better at the helm, would you be up for a change ?

I agree with you, and accept my ignorance. But when the crunch came, in the full light of the Hamilton media effect, Ron dropped the batton and left Lewis out on poor rubber. He had the trophy in his hands twice but dropped it. Nonethe less I accept he has done well for his team.

From your first posting, I assmed you were a troll. Now that you have admitted you are ignorant, I guess that doesn't make you a troll and also makes it easier for me to understand why you assume that RD called the shots on Hamilton's tyres, or indeed his race strategy. Next you'll be telling us that he's working as jack-man next season! If someone else could do even better at the helm, would you be up for a change ?

905 issue is well known about. Another rule circumvention - IIRC they shipped the wrecked car back to Paris for a "rebuild" after the practice shunt....
Yep, M. Alliot allegedly left a perfect 905-shaped impression in the wall at the Porsche curves and the tub was wrecked, but had been "repaired" in time for the race. Everyone knew it was a new tub: but it was Peugeot, at Le Mans...TVR moneypit said:

Regarding the Todt-905-Le Mans thing.....
Would Walkinshaw have done the same at the Silverstone 1000km if he could have got away with it?
Or Cesere Fiorio at the Monza 1000km?
Or Ole Anderson at Suzuka?
Perhaps the question you should be asking is "would the governing body of the race in question have allowed the team to get away with that in the UK, Italy or Japan"?Would Walkinshaw have done the same at the Silverstone 1000km if he could have got away with it?
Or Cesere Fiorio at the Monza 1000km?
Or Ole Anderson at Suzuka?

I think the answer might be "No" (with the exception of Italy, clearly)

You know your McLaren stuff for sure.
There's a competition on Autosports site to win a tour of the McL empire HQ. Can you tell me how many GP's McL have won? Being a good Ferrari fan naturally Id like nose around avec camera.
