When the BBC only offer a service which is a 'highlight' broadcast - why on earth are they publishing photos showing the results BEFORE their own service has even been aired!? No problem with them listing the results - but not a huge photo of the 3 top guys sat in post quali interview!!! especially at the top frickin' same page as their own schedule!
I'm out of the UK at the moment without A tv so no chance of watching the coverage on the BBC in any format. The BBC website was great for getting the qualifying result today, as it will be forage race result tomorrow. The BBC would lose out if they didn't publish the news as soon as possible. Use radio times website to fond out when it is on, they are less likely to have spoilers. andyps said:

Ferrari are in real danger of letting the WDC slip through their fingers again.
Hopefully so, Fiat will always be associated with the Schumacher stain. Thank God he is gone, finally. perhaps Fiat can regain a once (perhaps) good sporting image in the world at large. Cheese Mechanic said:

What a load of tosh. I know the last 15 years must have been aweful if you were not a Ferrari fan but talking through your ring piece won't make it any better.

What I don't get is it is a two car team, was hamiltons set up so far away from buttons that it left him 1 second adrift, yes it was.
I'd say the team should at least monitor what each car set up is and advise the race engineers they are poles apart and not helping the team (constructor). 1 second apart is far apart in set up its like one half of the team said we're going to try running it on three wheels as there is less drag on the straights and the team saying 'OK then try it, let us know how you get on'........
I guess that the team have a senior race engineer who has access to both drivers’ data. However if the two drivers are going in different directions with the setup then which is right and which is wrong? McLaren could have made Button change his set up against his or his engineer’s wishes to match Hamilton’s set up and then matched his qualifying result (which after the gearbox change penalty he has). That would not have helped the team at all.
We do also have to remember that points are not awarded for qualifying and there for a better race setup may pay dividends over pure pace on one lap with no fuel. Although this does look like me just playing devil’s advocate this time as I think that Hamilton has said that he was going for pole.
It's strange; I can remember a couple of times when JB got lost with his setup and copied Hamilton's setup to get there or thereabouts, so Mclaren do definitely share that info (as we also know from Twitter...), so I'm not sure what's going on.
I'm praying for rain and a Kobayashi masterclass.

Didn't Whitmarsh say their setups were converging, rather than diverging? I'm praying for rain and a Kobayashi masterclass.
I think RBR might fall a bit short on tyres...I'm a bit disappointed with the Williams' pace- it's really variable- whenever it's an aero grip circuit we suffer; mechanical grip is always good, but that's always been the case since Newey f'd off- a long time ago now!
Classic Kimi...always draws a laugh!

Cant help but think the race will be a RBR yawn-fest. Once more we will have to put up with the Aryan one saying 'Yeah baby, thats what im talking about' and that floating single digit.
Yes, I think it'll be a Red Bull snooze-fest too. Hopefully the director will ignore the RBs and concentrate on the 3-10 battle, which looks set to be a cracker. McClure said:

Yes, I think it'll be a Red Bull snooze-fest too. Hopefully the director will ignore the RBs and concentrate on the 3-10 battle, which looks set to be a cracker. In the distant past the cameras at the Japanese GP used to concentrate too much on any Japanese driver in the race. I do hope that remains a thing of the past and the cameras focus on the interesting race action instead.
Even with some of the processional 'boring' races there is always something of interest going on elsewhere at any stage of a race but, the camera directors sometimes miss this. That is particularly annoying when the current images are focusing on say a driver shaping for the pass then just as he is about to make the attempt, the cameras suddenly cut to say Alonso entering the Pit Lane..... that is of far less interest to me than track action.
Vettel, like Hamilton in the previous race, is a very short price to win tomorrow. 4-9 and 8-15 far too skinny odds for me so I'm looking elsewhere. Any slight slip ups in the race or pits for Vettel could see him at far more generous odds "in running".
I shall have a smaller than usual interest in the race with a few quid on Button. He's 18-1 for the win and about 3-1 for a podium tomorrow. This is just the kind of race where Button could do well.
How about a Joke bet on the old man of the tracks who surely must still be in a mood to show these so called better younger drivers a thing or two.. That would be the case if I were in his shoes.. competitive me even when success is very remote ... even lesser battles are worth winning ...
Schumacher's as high as 400-1 for the win tomorrow ( very remote chance ) but a top six finish @ 14-1 is far less remote. Only needs a few cock-ups up the front for him to reach points or even a top six spot.
I do not think the race tomorrow will be a bore-fest even if that young scamp Vettel scampers away and leads throughout. I shall be delighted if those who think it will be boring are wrong. We shall see.

+1. Vettel must be favourite for the championship he wins though.

Vettel is as low as 13-8 to beat Alonso for the Championship now. I expect Alonso to yet again drive for a safe points finish rather than racing tomorrow ..... unwise not to do so.
