Stand down Rodneys, it appears that the controversial happening has unwound itself and something less surprising, although still interesting is going on!
So Wookie, does this mean that when the less surprising but still interesting thing gets announced and we're all disappointed, you can then tell us what COULD have happened? Announcement at 12 today, apparently by a car driven by a scot last year so a Merc, a Civic or a Focus.
Matt Neal said something about an announcement tomorrow about a driver too.
So... realistically it’s going to be a Merc announcement.
Unless it’s a Motorbase announcement which would answer the Honda question too.

My guess, Cammish at Motorbase, Jackson in at TDMatt Neal said something about an announcement tomorrow about a driver too.

Cammish is is good enough for a factory drive (understatement IMHO) so where will he end
up?
I'm not saying he isn't good enough, but the works cars (2 cars in WEC, 4 at Le Mans, and 2 in IMSA) already have the drivers allocated for the 2018 (and 2019 for WEC) seasons. There's still numerous seats in GTE-Am to be announced, so maybe he could end up in one of those seats.up?
