While itll be great to see him with a top BTCC drive, i cant help but feel he could have been a title contender in Supercup this year.

Excellent choice, really happy for Daniel still think he needs to be a works GT driver and can't believe he hasn't been snapped up but it will do his profile the world of good.

If the car is there, what price on Cammish for champion, given his past histories of jumping into a new series and dominating? I think it will depend on him coping with the rough n' tumble nature of touring cars, as he's never experienced that much contact before.

If nothing else it makes it a pain in the arse for the Jack Sears! Try competing against Cammish in a brand new manufacturer developed car!

A great talent to join the BTCC, a bit of a coup landing him.

Hoping he isnt going to be treated with a target on his back and is able race without people taking him out! Cant imagine Neal being able to compete with him...

There’s been some top class drivers over the years who’ve struggled to adapt to fwd and the BTCC. Nothing is guaranteed

Your not wrong there! He has talent in abundance but the big question is...can he adapt/handle the tough, rugged and evermore competitive btcc? Going to be a very interesting season to say the least.
Eagerly anticipating who the 3rd BMR Subaru driver will be. If there is one that is....

Matt Salisbury said we can expect an announcement from Stephen Jelley on Monday which leaves 3 seats left.

Likelihood is he will return with Parker I’d have thought.

What does that leave? 2 MGs and an unknown?

Aron Taylor-Smith & Ant-Whorton Eales are yet to be named in a team, if they are coming back of course.

1x Suburu & 2x MGs I think.

I thought Aron Taylor-smith was pursuising a GT career this year? Maybe James Cole will drive an MG? Ex 888 bmr relationship + no news on Cole for 2018 ??

I've been trying to extract this information from a couple of people I know at BMR but from what they're saying it's now looking pretty unlikely due to lack of sponsorship.

I can't help thinking that Guy Martin would be a damp squib in BTCC ,big hooha at the beginning and then tooling around at the back

being lapped by leaders.

Not directly BTCC news - but Shedden confirmed in Audi RS3 in WTCR, for Team WRT (Customer team).
