I've now finished watching the second race. That was even more exciting than the first race due to weather conditions but I will so no more so as not to spoil it.

Great to see prominence of IntelligentMoney logos in the sponsorship.
Cheers mate! smile

I lost track of the first race very but still enjoyed seeing the cars, 2nd race I paid a lot more attention and was brilliant!

Great watching from behind the entry to the old hairpin, especially in the greasy conditions, could see the cars struggling to initially put the power down.

Blue mclaren (I think) had a lot of trouble trying to get off the grass though!

It was rather misty and a bit damp today.....

This fella was the only one to find the gravel in the main race....not once, not twice, but THREE times hehe

& everyone stayed clear of this battling competitor:

Is that the 10 mclaren? They seemed to swap their efforts with the drivers.

Is the Donington GP2 going ahead in September? I emailed the gt@ email account back in June but did not get a reply.

Hello mate

He seriously is!

Also just a really nice normal bloke who hasn't let his celebrity status go to his head in the slightest.

In further news, another PHer and myself are soon to announce some more grass roots racing with a new team, Intelligent Money Racing! smile

The bigger stuff is great, but this is just as exciting and even more involving.

All I can say now is that the car will be a Porsche, but much more to follow as we get prepared for the 2021 season!

I want to build this up and just like the GT Championship I will be behind this all the way.

Obviously life is not complete until you have your own racing team, but even this comes with problems - as my wife has just put my chequebook in the shredder! biggrin

Ah, so we now find out it's not buying Williams, and contracting Porsche for the engines either.........

rofl

Funnily enough, after it was announced I was sponsoring the British GT I had a call from someone about sponsoring Williams in the F1 this year (which I wasn't really interested in)!

I am more interested in supporting grass roots racing (not that the British GT is quite grass roots!).

We are probably looking at starting with MSVR SuperCup or 750 Enduro with the IM Racing team.

For now, that is all I can say as the only thing confirmed to date is I have agreed to provide the financial backing for this venture.

Cheers mate!

smile

Edited to actually make sense! biggrin
