Yeh ITV using an entire days schedule to play every single race at every single round of the BTCC every year interspersed with adverts between races (not during!), for free. The utter bds!

Oh, and no, you can't watch it anywhere else. Maybe try recording it and watching it an hour later and fast forward through the ad breaks.

The adverts are very frequent but as said, they show the whole thing from start to finish, without the ads it wouldnt happen, plus, there's a huge amount of space to fill between races, so I guess thats why they wack them in too.

I'm a Turkington fan so gutted at the final race results BUT I did think Sutton's punishment was harsh. I think if he keeps his cool (which he seems very good at!) he'll have it in the bag. 10 points is a lot to make up in the last 3 races in cars that are pretty evenly matched.

I do the same, but it's possible to start watching the recording at about 4pm... there's no racing for the first hour of the coverage, and a lot of chat plus a Porsche race.

The majority of teams/fans alike are sick of the boost situation and Plato's bhing if it isn't in BMR's favour. Let's face it he spent 2/3's of this year refusing to speak to the media while things weren't going well.

TOCA need to set a boost level next year and leave it down the engine builders to get their engines producing the best power they can within the regs.
Yes, and he spent all of last season bhing about the quick starts the RWD cars got - but now he's got one he doesn't mention it any more! (Just for clarity, I'm not a fan of his)!

My initial reaction was that Sutton's penalty was extremely harsh but as Paul O'Neill said, any other team would have contested the move at this point in the championship given the standings.

I'm assuming that TOCA have a lot more data than you see on TV, there was one or two camera angles on TV but TOCA will review in car footage, the CCTV at Silverstone, which is insane, plus possibly data from steering input and so on.

Either way, good luck for Sutton part that Turkington had a terrible round 3!

I'm really not a Plato fan but standing trackside having a pint and then getting a lift 'back from the boozer' with Jordan was brilliant!

Brands should be interesting now.

Terrible round for BMW as a whole yesterday really, Collard completely out, Jordan was running on similar lap times to the leaders all day he was just in that st zone where the trouble is in every race, Turkington had 2 solid races and it all went st in race 3.

Some team work is needed for Brands now.

I was sat at Woodcote and couldn't quite make out who caused the carnage in race 3 - BTCC Crazy website suggests it was Cook.

But I still can't work out who punted Josh Price off the following lap?

Been following Price since his Clio Cup days, he's not having much luck!

Was it not Simpson who shunted Price off?

Just about warmed up from a weekend sat in Woodcote...

Race 3 was just pure carnage, Price going off under the safety car, about 20 meters from the recovery was just ridiculous!

Me too, was a bit chilly and damp all weekend!

The lightning on Saturday was...Interesting!

We sat in Luffield mainly all weekend.

I've not been to a full weekend of racing at Silverstone before and have to say it wasn't bad

Saw & heard some harsh criticism of the cirucuit/event/staff etc. but I have to say we had an enjoyable weekend.

The ticket offers meant it was extremely good value too, with the car club scheme offering 2xWeekend general admission tickets for just £25

We also camped over, which was a bit of a trek over to the circuit, but the campsite was clean, quiet and perfectly adequate. Even the bar was open smile

The racing was also interesting, perhaps they should change it to British Bumper Cars Championship, but entertaining none the less.

They don't show every race (the support races).

You're a bit behind the times.

I think you'll find he had a RWD car last season.

Finally have got to see race3.

Shedden and Austin need to sort themselves out,way too much contact,2nd time the Honda nearly did what Collard got pushed into but miraculously everyone missed him.

Not impressed with Cook spinning out Plato ,who got hit by an Audi who couldn't swerve ,causing the safety car
