Does anyone know if a complete set of lap times is posted anywhere? I've had a look on MST's site and no mention of it at all.

BTW I was racing with team 28 (Caterhams) I was F, the sort of blue and orange nervous looking one! It was my first time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Only one 'moment' when the rear wheel of a Spitfire (I think) decided it didn't like the car anymore, whilst I was following it through Copse. I had more trouble avoiding the wheel than the car!

try the 750mc website

Some more From Russia With Love pictures! Not as good quality as Trackside's ones - my camera's auto focus isn't quick enough for me to take photos and do timing at the same time.

All of mine that worked are at: www.flickr.com/photos/cj_eds/sets/72157594273932232/

But here's a couple:

Can't see anything on the 750MC website. Does anyone know if it was MST who was doing the timing? I'd imagined it was...

Well, it didn't rain, hurrah! Superb day's racing once again!

I was rather side-tracked taking some 700-odd photos! eek

wavey Trackside,

Good to meet you and glad you had fun.I'm sooo glad it wasn't wet which made the day even better, and I can't wait to see some of the pictures you took as the taster ones look very good. Unfortunatly our 7's water pump was the incorrect one fitted by the engine re-builder and there for the alignment was out mesaning the belt snapped. No other belt or correct pump meant only 20 mins practice and 20 mins racing......nevermind, at least it is an easy fix. Chapmans Chariots did 282 laps and secured a Class A win but when the results were published we had done 280 laps?????????? So by the powers that be we drew on laps with team 30 and they won the class!

Oh Well, Roll On Next Year! when I will be competing...can't wait!!!!

The RX-7 was fantastic! I think he turned up to the wrong event - obviously thought it was the D1 GP! laugh Although right near the end of the race he did finally get it wrong out of Luffield and have a huge spin followed by a massive amount of tyre smoke and noise to get going again. Yeehah!

Oh, and this was exiting Becketts, just so everyone got to see his drifting talents...

And to show it's nothing new, pre-war drifting!

There are qite a few pictures at www.2cvtv.com/Events/2006/Silverstone-oct-enduro-2006.html and not just the 2cv's.
I just wish we knew how they took 12 laps off our handicap when the race finished none of us understand.
Nevertheless an excellent race and the frazer nash's looked even more spectacular when you were right behind them.

I could have watched these guys all day - their entry into the first corner was great to watch - leaning in, ocasionally with a bit of a drift and a lot of smoke. Looked frightening when they were doing so with some of the other much quicker cornering cars split seconds behind them.

Great pictures Trackside! Could you e-mail me a copy of any you took for Team 36?
I had a fantastic time - I got the pleasure of starting the race from 44th on the grid and 51 different cars piling into Copse is certainly an experience I won't forget in a hurry! I still have no idea how they worked out the handicap though. They had estimated one of our drivers would do 1:13's when she was actually doing 1:20's and yet, when they re-assessed the handicap, they TOOK OFF laps from our credit rather than adding. How does that work out?! rolleyes

Team 36 Les Femmes Fatales also had credit laps taken off...

Anyway those pics are great - especially of the bonkers Team 11 car looking backwards - he was really quick in a straight line, but brought tears to the eyes around corners!

It was nice to see so many Classic Sports Car Club members out there - see you all at the Winter Lunch!

Any more pics of Lancia Beta # 36B greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

were there any safety car periods, they usually knock off credit laps for those.

looks like a great mix of cars as usuall.

Gutted I couldnt make it in the end, and the Tuscan spent the day sulking in the garage.

Pity Kevan Clouted the wall, he's checking the car for chassis damage now..
