Only twice?

I'm glad it's back, I've missed my 2pm Sunday afternoon snoozes.

I thought that's what all old people did after Sunday lunch?

Old?......hrumpff.

I fell asleep after a substantial Sunday dinner, you know, the type of thing you poor students can't afford.

Just a thought....

Out of all those that drone on about how good F1 was in 70s and 80s, how many have paid their £10 to go and watch Thoroughbred F1 or EuroBoss races?

You got me there! I fell asleep during a GP last season to save energy.

Euroboss is cracking value for money.

But if you really want to watch it get a satellite dish and tune into the German channels who invariably will cover all of the sessions. Also good for switching to during the adverts during the live race. The commentators are a bit odd though, they sound like they're commenting on a snooker match - definitely lacking the Murray Walker factor!

Tell me more - can I get this on Sky digital or do I have to have the old analogue (big dish) receivers? I can remember watching RTL for F1 on the old system but didn't think it was available on the digital system.

Good fun to watch but not quite the same as it was back then. The cars are not matched and the drivers - with all due respoect to them - are not quite Peterson, Lauda, Villeneauve, Scheckter etc. are they! Rich..

Not sure if it's on digital as ours is an old Pace analogue. We bought it ten years ago purely for Eurosport and have never paid up for a card of any kind!

Actually, our box has just blown up so I'm looking at buying a replacement from Loot/eBay etc for about £10-£20.

I pay Murdoch about £360 a year, and watch it as part of that.
