Looking at the shakedown Videos Ogier looks the most assured with his car. So 1st.
Evans and Neuville battle for 2nd. Evans pips it.
Rovanpera Tanak and Suninen. = Rovanpera takes 4th

Those Alpines looked to be struggling, maybe the suspension setup needs more work. They looked very stiffly sprung.

Nightmare for M-Sport. They didn't need that, especially after the battle just to get to the start line. Wouldn't want to be in Teemu's shoes after that interview with the boss!

Shame the official coverage won't let us see any of these Alpines in running - they look a lot of fun:

Not sure about that Pug though - sounds like an absolute bag of spanners!

He was quicker than Tanak at the split. Typical Monte accident IMO, luck of the draw especially when you’re going for it.

Elfyn admitted he’d almost binned it on the same corner, but he’d left a bit on the table, so he got away with it. A lesson learnt from Monza six weeks ago.
If nothing else, it proves the Ford is fast ...

Crashing on the first stage of the new season is distinctly average... big damage to the car as well. Money that M Sport don't have in the limited budget.

Greensmith not exactly pulling up trees. If they are actually paying him (which I very much doubt) they will be asking for a refund.

Shame about the cancellations, but it looks like Mull is on its way to being a BRC round for the first time.

Unfortunately the last thing he was told before leaving service was to finish, and not in the trees.

Greensmith has been painfully slow so far, I hope he can grab at least a couple points with others misfortune.

Anyone else getting up for SS3 tomorrow?

05:10 is a little early, but that might depend on the puppy anyway... SS4 is definitely do-able though.

Every stage is also on the BT Sport "extra" channels.

Ahh balls. Just about the only thing I haven't got is BT Sport. Red Bull highlights show it will be then.

Suninen's car looks a mess and not great for Greensmith to have Fourmaux beating him in the R5 car. Good performance by Rovanpera so far.

Other way round; his money is enabling his drive for the season.....

I'm not really sure what they, M-Sport can do? Little money for testing, etc they're not a Manufacturer team, unlike Hyundai & Toyota.

Mikkelson showing his class in WRC2, although Formaux isn’t far off!
