It sounds like I should explain my style of posting to y'all.
I see that you guys like to converse with others as if you were talking to them in the flesh, but my method of posting is different.
I like to let off steam, and speak my mind if people provoke me. I found it pretty funny to wind y'all up, but most of you seem to take it personally.
This site is for entertainment as well as news.
For your info, my interpersonal skills are v good, partly due to a decent private school education.
However, I don't consider a forum to require perfect interpersonal skills.
As for 'PR liability', well if I was to talk to people in the flesh in the same way that I have been posting here, then I sure would make a crap PR man.
But in the flesh, I can scrip everything in my head before I say it, so I appear in the best light, and I never offend anyone.

strange, because when I last checked, I was a real person, reading the typing of another real person.

you will find this forum IS for real people, who like to chat when there NOT together, we often meet, and dont insult people. try joining in, its called socialising.

Phantum, it is all very well back-pedalling now, but you were insulting from your second post onwards, this is not an acceptable way of behaving on a forum such as this. Members do insult each other, but this is usually between members who know each other, which is acceptable as it is in jest and everybody knows this.

You are communicating with other individuals here so try to keep it as if you are face to face.

Phantum, You're back!!!!

Mods - please don't bin him - I haven't been this entertained for ages (well, except for last Saturday, but the least said about that the better, quite frankly). Cheaper than a DVD too.

Of all the postings that I've read on PH over the last year or so, you are the only contributor I've come across who's had to explain/justify their style of posting.

Funny how everyone else manages to converse on here without meeting with such universal disapproval!

Phantum, you shouln't have to explain yourself. The point of this forum is to express your views. But that's all they are: our views.

I don't agree with yours, you don't agree with mine. So what.

The difference is that you have insulted all of us by your offensive remarks. Its entirely different to say "Oh, I don't agree, I think so-and-so"

then to say "You ****, I think this..."

I would be happy to hear your views, as you are a driver in the "Motorsport Industry" (to coin a phrase), and that is something I admire and something I personally would like to be.

But I'm not. Please don't insult me because of this. Hell,I don't insult anyone over a differnce of opinion.

Write as you would speak. Most of the people on this forum I don't know, so I write as I would talk to them.

If I KNOW them , then that's different...

Your opinions are valid, but only insult people if you know them personally. If not, think of them as potential sponsors you are meeting for the first time.

I can think of no better way of meeting like-minded enthusiasts then this website.

No doubt I will admire your opinions some day...

William,
You have a point(or two), when I started this thread, I was just having fun and I didn't give a damn who I was talking to. But maybe I have been converted.

There is a little mention in "Radio Times"; Jenson Button will be the host of this show.

Cheers James,
It sounds like Jenson will be making more than just a token apperance, which is nice.
I hear he will also be judgeing the karting, so hopefully I'll see him next week.

Hope Jenson's outings don't take up too much attention, he MUST beat JV this year.

Loved JVs quote about JB bringing about as much to the team as a member of a boy band would, very amusing although clearly JVs feeling a bit insecure (again)

Well, if you make it to the big time, you'll be able to save a few quid on the sense of humour bypass. You've clearly already had it done.
