Has he been gagged by James?

Steve started a new job this week. It may be delaying things.

Just thought I would join in and say it was great to see DJR Racing on Pole Position on Sunday. Great Driving by Jay, left everyone else standing still. Keep up the good work,

hmmmmm ex Le Mans car and it killed it's brakes jay was honest to say that had he stayed out one more lap he would have killed himself, not sure that in a 50min race that equals leaving everyone standing....... Was a good drive by Jay as already said in an earlier post by me.......the Sunday was different story with a different driver, guess a fair bit less experience so they went backwards in the race and the car eat it's brakes again - i believe since we were in pits next to them...

Why did they have to pit before the start?

Team proved a point and Driver David Longstaff decided to use the second race as a further test for the car. Team were not competing for points at this meeting so a great opportunity for further testing in race conditions.

rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl prove a point rofl rofl rofl rofl they came into the pitlane as a gesture to the field over the nonsense from Saturdays race NOT to prove a point. They had told James this before the race, the car came in behind the pace car then drove straight to the end of the pitlane and started the race there.

The car was clearly driven by a slower driver on the Sunday, Jay is a quick driver and brought the car up through the field Sat, on Sun the car went no where........ they were braking for Paddock 40 meters plus before anyone else we were watching from the pitwall and on the Team GBR monitors. The prove a point comment is rubbish, sorry mate but it is.......

Jemco enjoyed a mixed weekend but Sundays drive through to 12th (from 36th) exceeded our expectations. Well worth the 9 hours spent changing the clutch Saturday evening!

Well done to Topcats for a fantastic race weekend, well done also to the V8 Star guys who were next to us in the Paddock, for their win on Sunday - it was also a joy to follow Richard's 935 (for 50 yards)and watch his drive through the field. Absolutely outstanding.

With regards the previous comments re DJR - agree with Darren, a GT1/2 car (competing against mainly GT3 & GT Cup) should be the class of the field. They somehow managed to achieve, despite not taking a chequered flag, a "victory" - and subsequently displayed some attributes not seen in recent Britcar seasons.

Lets hope Snetterton is safe, a great race for the spectators, and most of all, free of controversy.

What about Richard Chamberlain and the 935 Clone???? OK he didnt finish but.......

Richard and the mighty 935 replica were in the pits next to us, always a great team and a laugh. Great lap to get pole and the only team to get a 1:30 I think on the Sunday, the drive from the back of the grid must have been interesting on the first few laps with the C1 and C2 cars on the track nuts !!

David does need a bit of work but he has only done 25-30 laps in total,Brakes are all sorted now it was a engine problem on Sunday no compression on two clyinders.

Fair play Jay, we could see the car was driven being slower than the previous day with you at the wheel, 20-30 laps in the LM600 isn;t a lot of experience, so explains the slower laps. Thanks for the correction on the Sunday, hope that you get the 2 cylinders back onboard!

My local circuit as well so i am really disappointed, I would think most people will be happy not to see it.

Don't think that's the case myself. Snetterton is a great power circuit, would have been a great race against the LM.

nah Jay think that most would be glad to hear and feel the LM on track. Brands was something that happend but racing is what we all turn up for not the politics.......

Mick from topcats seems like a nice guy he came and shook my hand and said no hard feeling after all the trouble ,but richard the other driver seemed like he wanted to kill me at every opportunity.

i'd not take feelings over the weekend as a true reflection of people's personalities. Richard is a top lad and a very good racer, likewise for Mike
