Wookie - that Audi looks damn sexual, I had a man-gasm every time you went past me , and I don't even particularly like Audi!
Sorry only just spotted! Cheers mate, it is a pretty car!! And also thanks for contributing an amusing word to my vocabulary As for Neate, I'm personally surprised, have to say I thought he'd be crashing his way through the rest of the season (although to be fair to him he was better than most at brands). Wonder who will take the seat now!

Andy Neate didn't last long.
Out with immediate effect apparently.
That was a lot quicker than his driving...Out with immediate effect apparently.
Reading the team statement it sounds a lot like a rubber cheque issue to me - there's no other reason to 'Immediately terminate' the relationship as they're hardly going to have had performance clauses

Probably not far off.I heard from a friend who has contacts that something happened in the Ceravision boardroom within the last couple of weeks and Andy hasn't been seen at work since...

"Unable to commit" is missing "the funds agreed in my contract" off the end in that statement I suspect...NailedOn said:
Is there any expectation that the Subarus will become competitive ?
With 32 cars on the grid, cars qualifying outside the top ten will struggle to earn points. The ScoobyDoos seem short of pace.
They're very new - Brands Hatch was basically an extended test session for them. If I was a gambling man, I'd expect to see them up at the sharp end of the grid by the summer break. With 32 cars on the grid, cars qualifying outside the top ten will struggle to earn points. They were trying all manor of setup options at brands and I have a feeling possibly weren't even close to max power on the engines, no point running them to the limit when the car still needs baseline setup work. Another couple of rounds and I think we'll start seeing them going at full chat and up at the front.

Points go down to 15 so the subarus have already scored points, they are down 6 mph on the straights so the engine isn't even been pushed to the max and they just learning the car. Maybe at Donny where the longer track may suit the longer cars may see them up the end of the top 10 area and by mid season up the sharp end. With 32 cars on the grid, cars qualifying outside the top ten will struggle to earn points. To be fair he's not alone, but considering the people he's ripped off along the way I'm amazed he's pulled it off again. There will be tears before bedtime...
I wouldn't be surprised if Dynamics have requested payment up front and have a very water tight contract regarding no refunds in a large number of situations regardless of how many race weekends are completed To be fair he's not alone, but considering the people he's ripped off along the way I'm amazed he's pulled it off again. Didn't even make it to breakfast, never mind bedtime!
Good riddance Mr Cheate...

Just read over the thread above, shows the good side of pistonheads and shows that there is more to life than motor racing and posting on the Internet. Whereas some of the recent posts on this thread show the ugly side of pistonheads.
Can we move on and get back to talking Btcc and let dynamics/neate also move on
