Great day in the sun on Myherin yesterday. Great to have Gwyndaf Evans behind us at Elfyns Corner, over hearing his analysis and happiness on what was happening! In the afternoon we went to a very fast right hander, which the 2017 cars were epic through, Especially Evans, Latvala and Meeke!

We’ve arrived at Garth 3 hours before the 1st car and the same time as last year, but are miles further down the car park! Good luck to anyone just leaving for the stage!

Well it seems half the country tried to be on either Dyfi or Garth today, people must have been parked 5 miles away by the main road, with a huge climb up the hillside. Apparently Dyfi was close to being cancelled, with too many stood in stupid places.

We ended up between v1 and 2 on Garth as the person I'm with picked up an injury. It was ok viewing, made better by how loud these cars are under full load up a long hill!

We had a good day at Sweet Lamb yesterday, amazing weather - sun and even some dust in the afternoon.
Great position for Elfyn to be in with 53 second lead and only 41 kilometres tomorrow, would be fantastic to see him win.
Sorted a few photos, link below.

Weather was very different today. Low cloud at the top of Aberhirnant.

No phone coverage so couldn’t keep up on the results.

Shame about the mindless morons with flares, fireworks and fires......

Then when we stopped for a bite, the drive through was popular.

Watched both runs through Myherin on Friday on and around Elfyns corner. Unseasonably warm and a decent crowd.

Saturday was Dyfi x 2 then the night run thru Aberhirnant to finish of our 2017 visit.

Dyfi was v.busy. Talking to one of the marshalls it was a close call regarding cancellation. I dont think the size of the crowd helped but we were told a p@ssed up group were causing some grief somewhere on the stage........and that was for the morning loop.

We did the same corner at Aberhirnant as last year but it was run the opposite way and at night. Great spectacle and after Elfyns corner we decided to name this one interntional corner as we enjoyed the company of polish, belgian, french, swiss and german fans.

Overall, we still had a great time and the new cars did add something extra to the spectacle.

Hoping to get back in some capacity in 2018 but may be restricted to the Sat / Sun only due to the calendar move away from the half term week.

Half the country eh, surprising the stage commander cleared that to run with those numbers...

You need to be called "Seb" to win the world title in WRC these days. Cocorico!

Great result for Elfyn and Dan, I remember Elfyn when he was rallying a Micra!

Great performance by M-Sport too, especially considering they are basically a privateer team.

i went on Friday and Saturday with my son - our 1st rally experience. In hindsight, i should've bought a ticket for Friday's action rather than going to Newtown and enjoying the weather. Saturday was grim and a 5.30am start...loads of walking, falling through trees/ brambles, being ill prepared compared to those with stoves, sunloungers ( ! ), chairs etc. Oh well

Just watched the power stage from earlier. What a fantastic result for M-sport, first Tanak takes enough points for the manufacturers, Ogier enough for the drivers title and Elfyn wins the rally!
I hope Ogier stays with M-sport now, today may help that decision.

Well done Elfyn on winning Wales Rally GB. First of many, I'm sure.
