What's greatest ever comp car made by BMC/Leyland/MG/Austin?
Discussion
I think you have to say the Mini
The River SD1 did things it was really not supposed to do was not a great rally car but got a lot of attention but was a great race car even into the turbo era.
Also the amount of stuff done my Metro's, race series, the 6R4 though into a great factory rally car was and still runs now.
But the Mini has to win, rallying, circuits, even still racing now and providing some of the best racing there is.

Has to be the Cooper S....success on track as well as in rallying and rallycross (and as a club comp car in just about anything!)
with the Rover SDI (which actually had a modicum of success as a rally car as well as its Touring Car exploits) in second place.
Third is probably equal standing between the Austin-Healey 3000, the 6R4, the Dolly Sprint & the TR7 V8.
