Re:Alonso.

Did anyone else notice that, in the pole position PC, he didn't have his overalls 'buttoned' up.
Yes, it was highly unprofesional. He should have money deducted from his pay to compensate the sponsors, who will be rather unhappy about losing that exposure. At this level things like that are important, it shows he really doesnt give a rats arse about the team or it's sponsors that pay to help them be competitive. Kimi seams to understand this despite his relaxed attitude to PR, Fred needs a reality check.

Alonso's not been towing the party line with regards to attire in the press conferences for a while now, so its nothing new. All Mclaren drivers for maybe the last 10 years or so have worn stiff over-suits in the press conference which look like their race suit but ensure the sponsor logos are all nicely flat and seen by the camera. Alonso hasnt worn his for a good few races.

As to the rumoured replacements, I can't see it being another rookie personally, Mclaren broke all their unwritten rules on driver selection to bring Hamilton in. Obviously that decision has worked out brilliantly but I dont see the same potential in Glock that Hamilton had before coming into F1, so very unlikely IMHO. Far more sensible to go with an experienced driver like Heidfeld if they can I would think.

Did anyone notice in today's post quali press conference Lewis played the normal party line "we" did this, "we" did that, "we" got pole etc.... FA said "we" did OK but "we" didn't put the car on pole...

Hmm interesting, actually love, you didn't put the car on pole "we" did put a car on pole.

I know picking linguistics from someone who speaks English as a second language is a bit unfair but it seemed to sum up FA attitude and I can't believe it's an attitude that goes down well with RD.
Exactly
Blimey AAV you're a man of words aren't you, no wonder the long thread bored you winkbiggrin
