Which commentators made motorsport for you?
Discussion
Gill was alright, apart from his inability to pronounce names properly! Markku A lane! Always miffed me. Always preferredTony Mason, more insight and knowledge and also Tiff was an excellent rally presenter aswell in my eyes.
He was the forerunner to the pitlane man in f1 back then too.

When I used to go to Silverstone in the 1960s I liked the commentary style of Peter Scott-Russell.
More recently I found the contributions from James Hunt on F1 TV coverage entertaining.
"More recently"? You know how long James Hunt has been dead?More recently I found the contributions from James Hunt on F1 TV coverage entertaining.
Anyhow thanks for your reply - entirely superfluous though it was. Have a nice day.
