Is that from now or from the original start time? Sorry to ask but Google is being to be a bit slow on this today.

The original start time was 15 minutes ago, but it’s still raining buckets and they stopped letting the crowd in. It’s going to be at least a couple of hours once the rain stops, to get the track dry and the people in the stands.

Looks nice and dry now-are we still on for a 7pm start U.K. time?

Kyle Larson’s original plan for today, involving two helicopters and a private jet.

Now he wants Indy to postpone so he can still get to Charlotte in time!

No chance.

Takes 80 mins to dry the track apparently.

Sky were showing people on the grid though? Are they showing stock footage?

Sky have just killed the YouTube stream, so now it’s Sky Sports F1, Sky Sports Mix (I don’t have Sky) or a NowTV pass. Thanks, guys.

They know it's not going to happen today. But they are keeping people watching because sponsors/advertisers.

I think the live pictures are still those of rain.

Last Twitter post from IMS was this one, saying take shelter and the gates are closed.

Now coming up on 10pm in my time zone, they’re clearly not about to start the 500 so I think it’s time to rest the eyes.

It's still only 2:18pm Indiana time at time of writing, 90 mins to dry the track, if there's no further weather it could run fine, fingers crossed, as long as they don't insist on 2hrs worth of pre race ceremony bks beforehand.
