you know last week i couldnt sleep , an so ended up seeing that champ car race live from america, an then oddly enough, from between the yank accents came it brit one - an it were dan wheldon - who only damn well one the seasons drivers contest with that race!

Virtually unrecognised in the UK too. No decent TV coverage you see. No media awareness equals no glory and no recognition.
it were only my insomnia that kept me up!
tho at least i also saw 10 mins of that Nascar, to which i couldnt see any skill involved, other than avoiding the inevitable tyre or engine blow-out ahead of you.
...to me then, Nascar ain't a sport but a lottery of whoever happens to be furthest away from a collision pile-up!
why even david blunket or stevie wonder could win nascar by sticking at the back!
