Hamilton has also talked about his belief in God, saying: "I feel quite safe on the track. I know He's always looking after me."

And he has added: "I never think about being killed on the track at all. I don't have any fear out there."

I feel quite safe on the track. I know He's always looking after me

Lewis Hamilton discusses his faith
Remarks like this are unusual for a racing driver, most of whom are strongly aware of the risks of what they do, even if they like not to
think about them too much.

Hmmm.... not so good, racers that have no fear end up dead, that would be a very sad loss indeed.

Senna had a respect for the risks and often backed off, the famous Monaco lap springs to mind.

Nothing wrong with what he said, I find it interesting as I'm yet to meet a driver who does not feel fear in a kart/car at some point, it checks you in check. I'm wondering if it's media spin or he has a deathwish :-)

a reminder to always watched where the cars are coming from when your on the bank, or stood on the pit wall smile
Sorry, I was on the inside - she ran wide and hit the wall opposite me. But yes, it is always a good idea to be alert when spectating:

Know that place well, standing there would have been fun. An engine block passed over the heads of some people a few years back, from an F3 car I think :-(

RobMM what you said was spot on, including the beard part HAHA
