As we all know, racers are subject to contracts and have to 'play the game' when it comes to speaking to the press. But doesn't it make boring TV?

I give you... Nicky Hayden, Moto GP rider.
Every interview he does sounds the same ... "Awww maaan, the bike was goooood, I rode gooood, the Michelins were goooood, the team did gooood, Honda are gooood"

This is poo. And it's getting worse. Which drivers/riders do you all remember who just said it as it is and damn the consequences?

Remind us of some good old quotes people!

Senna in Japan in '91, after winning the championship, in a massive tirade against JM Balestre, Prost, circuit officials, the world...and explaining what the world knew about the previous year's Japanese GP. Electrifying stuff
Find it, post it up here smile

Tho it's not a driver vs team thing.... the BTCC lads dont mind telling each other what's what.

Plato always seemed to wait until his victim was being interviews before he'd jump in with "you should've have a licence"

Plato a media whore? Never! biggrin
