Discussion
Caterham R400. Im looking for a dry tyre as i use the CR500 in the wet.
True about the heat cycles, around 6-7 and there gone. However my mate ran them all year on his pheonix R1 untill they started to de-laminate,(if thats the right terminology), and his times were still on the pace.
I ran Toyo R888's on a fury blade last year and thought they were reasonable, only problem is they are limited in sizes with no 235/45/13's. A few of my mates had the Kumho's and reckon they were the business although it took a lot to get the heat into them initially. Suppose it depends on the weight of the car and the power.
