Record Breaking Ladies Required

Fancy 200mph in an F1 car?!

Anita Knight of RecordBreakers.co.uk is looking for three plucky ladies to join the team of people attempting a rather bizarre world record.

She plans to smash the current record for driving blindfolded by 50mph (currently 144.7mph) and take it to over 200mph.

The project also aims to raise money for British Blind Sport, a charity which provides sporting facilities to the blind.

I have driven blindfolded in a Ferrari and found it very scarey. I am also doing some testing in the F1 later this month. I would never claim it is a easy challenge, that's just foolish.
( . . . )

Isn't enjoying your sight one of the nicer aspects of driving (fast)? Changing landscape in blur, feeling the car shaking, hearing the engine and roadsounds . . . mwah, sunglasses on is bad as it is enough . . .
