twisty roads in northern France?

i am pretty new to this site so please be gentle!!

i am trying to find the best route from Calais, heading west across the northern coast road and then dropping down to the Loire Valley but want to miss out toll roads! are there any decent twisty/scenic routes this way or are all the best roads in Southern France? planning a 3/4 day trip so detours are possible.

Any help would be appreciated! cheers.

wow didnt think id get any response from my post, especially so quick -many thanks to all posts, very helpfull. map very helpfull, not far away from where we generally wanted to go!

dont really have any destination in mind, just want to get away for 3/4 days and see some proper senic twisty roads!
