Rover Mini Sprite
Discussion
One of the last carb models, my brother has a K reg sprite, you'll find some of the wiring loom is similiar to the incoming injection models and some bits like the earlier carbs!
You'll also have to be pretty firm at MOT time thats its carb and not injection like the computer often says...

Well if the bloke see's a choke, he can work it out for himself Sweet.
If anyone could make a fuel injection system with a manual choke, it'd be Rover Just mentioned my '93 Rio (Sprite based) in SP&L yesterday, I assume yours has the catalytic converter too.

Well if the bloke see's a choke, he can work it out for himself booo... my first car was a mini sprite with injectors instead of carbs, it brings back memories, we (me and my father) put a straight through exhaust on it and a rally air filter...
It had no stereo so it needed to be musical....
My father used to do the run back from the supermarket in 11mins in his cossie and once I managed it in 9mins, fk me I got a bking for that testing out the handling.... the car used to be heard from about a mile away when pushing it, remember once my mother was talking to the neighbour about me helping out with something and stopped to say that I was on my way, she couldnt see me but by fk she could hear it and a min later I turn up after caning down the back roads...
God I miss that car!!

Lovely car - can't believe they were running these thing on carbs all the way to L reg...must have been one of the only cars available at the time without injection, surely?
I believe that the Polish built Fiat 126s were carb'd and they stayed in production till 2000.Mini1275 said:

Other than restoring the rust, refurbing the wheels, adding spotlights and a weber I don't. Oh, and a straight through exhaust or similar.
