Thought I would throw up a few pics of my motor. Its a Renaultsport Clio 172. Not many mods, just a few "upgrades"

Engine:
ITG Panel filter
restrictive air feed removed
Decat
Stainless stealth exhaust system

Chassis:
Koni dampning adjustable shocks

Nice! Wish I got a 172 now with the single hidden exhaust. My 182 is a bit obvious and I want more stealth!

First Off Welcome. wavey

These RenaultSport Clio's are reallygrowing on me.

Your's looks great! I like the subtle 'Renault F1' sticker. yes

The only thing I don't like is that Halfords 'Sport' badge on the boot but I am nit-picking.

Enjoy! thumbup

Nice car. Nice mods.

Where did you get that exhaust. I want to get a better exhaust the standard parts are poor quality. Most have the visible rear pipe. I prefer the hidden pipe.

Also you mention the restrictive air flow mod. How did you do that. Did you notice much difference.

Really great cars, I've had my 172 cup a year now. It's a fantasic car. Allthough mine is totaly standard at the moment, I may have to upgrade the exhaust soon.

The Sport badge is standard kit. But your right, you can buy the same badge in halfords which is a bit of a shame.

Decided I'm going down the 172 route as a bit of a weekend fun car in the New Year - seem to offer great value for money

One of the imminent plans for mine is to visit K-tec racings website and order the new 'Renaultsport' badge, then swap it for the one Halfords have copied.....looks much better imo.

Airflow mod is to pull the pipe from the acoustic valve off. Best, and coldest airflow is where the pipe meets the airbox. Gets a little "throatier" too

My system is just a random stainless, butif you want the best, search for a BTB Stealth. Expensive, but considered the best for these

Cool car - I just picked up a 182 as a daily hack, and I'm bloody impressed. I reckon it'd be just as fast around a track as my Elise. Might even put that to the test at Brands in a couple of weeks.
