Would look OK without the fashion-victim tyres. And drive a lot better as the sidewalls would be able to do their job.

Why? Because it's not to your taste? Ph is spoilt by snobby, arrogant arses such as yourself.

WELL SAID

I'd rather look at the Golf than another F reg 5 series etc that someones picked up cheap. If I wanted to look at cars like that I'd pop down the local taxi office.

I really like the Euro-look. Although as soon as I saw the first picture I knew the first reply would be slating the stretched tyres! God help you, if you had black number-plates or had misspelt anything in your post! hehe

Ph was so far as i know started by people with the same "snobby" views as myself for people who enjoy driving cars not for people who like putting stupid tyres on them that prevent them being driven properly and safely.

As an aside he posted and asked opinions he got mine. If he doesnt like it tough he shouldnt have asked.

Where does it say this chap doesnt like driving his car?. He obviously does as he's spent a lot of time, money and effort on it.

I think I'll go and troll all the threads with cars I dont like in...oh hang on...why bother.

Its obviously someones pride and joy so no need to be so rude about it if you dont like it.

Sadly though people such as you are far too common on this site which is maybe why its got such a bad rep....so well done.

Anyway, I'm going off topic.

Blah Blah really not interested. i dont go trolling just to help you out here. User posted in members car i clicked on the link to his car to see it and was presented with a stupid euro look golf. He may like it but its not safe no matter what is said tyres are not designed to be put on rims like that it will ruin the ride and there is no way you could drive it on a rough surface or at any sort of speed without the risk of the tyre coming loose from the rim.

Ah the usual 'What's your thoughts', but 'I actually don't want to hear anything negative about my car'

I have seen and been in arguments like this before and the above is usually correct.

Your car is your car and what you do to it is your own doing.

Personally your car is horrid....imo of course.

I'm quite a fan of the euro look although I would personally never go for it. Nice car IMO.

Can i ask what the ride and handling is like with that wheel/tyre set up?

Also what sort of power is it producing?
