Was that on the central display as a BMW message?

Does it come with any warnings?

Probably the only message I never received on mine! :hehe

That's interesting, I found it never felt that quick from a standing start, but a rolling start - it went like stink for such a large bus!

Glad you're enjoying yours smile

I think on mine, (which had the laser lights) there was an option buried in a menu to set them up for LH or RH driving modes.... even my really old Rx400h has this feature too, so I'm sure you will find it in the menu. (Or maybe actually ask the car, it might take you to the correct menu?)

Any pics?

Going into BMW tomorrow for the battery recall.

Interesting reading this thread, I never get more than 38 miles on a full charge!! Summer or Winter
Do you pre-condition before unplugging?

I used to get 95-100% of the claimed range, but a lot of my journeys were on tight lanes and quite slow going.

That doesn't sound right....

Has it always been like that?

X-line or M-sport trim, and what size wheels?

I've just gone through my old pics, and the display in the car only every showed 40miles at 100% on mine - so it could well be that I am mis-remembering...

However, I'm certain IRL it gives 50+ electric range due to gains from coasting/regen etc.

That is daft money for an oil change!

I could be wrong, but I thought manufacturers were not allowed to force you to use them for servicing, providing the work was comparable and using the recommended parts and methods?

Do you have an independent BMW specialist nearby? If you are near Somerset I can recommend a place. smile

Probably best to speak with a dealer about the options and lead time to get a definitive answer, they are usually pretty helpful. smile

My car has continentals on the rear. And the fronts need replacing but there isn't any stock of Contis anywhere.

What to do?!?!?!

If I'm keeping the car in warranty would I need to stick with Continentals
Have you spoken with BMW directly? There must be an alternative...? redface

Hankooks are an option.

But that means Hankooks on front and Continentals on the rear!!??
That's mad - there are planty of 45E's out there now, so this shouldn't be such an issue.
What have the suppliers said in terms of lead time to get them?
