So 4.7ohm is fine
If that's the required value then yes - the series connection may have been recommended to boost the wattage (two 1 watt resistors in series will allow for two watts dissipation)

A straight through pipe must have been loud because I had a system fitted to my A4 (no longer own it) and even with two silencers it would drone quite a bit inside the car.

My first was a standard B5 1.8, then I got a B5 2.8 Quattro (v6) and then the one above (1.8T Quattro) a then B6 3.0 Quattro (v6)

Nice cars, but I always found the BMWs to drive quieter.

But in the snow I'll have an Audi over the BMW for sure.

That's looking good.

I'd prefer silver wheels but that's just a matter of taste isn't it.

yes i bought one it was st, just about to fit it and was fithly, loads of carbon bits. took me ages to get a refund as the seller accused me of lying.

loads of stuff is basically Chinese clones, best stick to known traders like i said before beach buggy turbos or even buy a new borg, i think the bex is 775 brand new.

Oh that's not good I look at them and think how can you sell a turbo for 150 pounds how much does it cost them to make it

housing are not complicated it is the turbines and the balance tolerance involved that makes the different, considering the rpm they spin at. A hybrid from a known seller or new would be my choice unless you know one coming off a car due to upgrade.

Nice to see one of these on here.

I have had a A4 1.8T B5 shape for 13 years. Changed so many bits and bobs over the years and still love the odd time I get to drive it. Feels like it is so well made and I still like that generation of Audis.
