Drivers door handle has not worked for a while - the one on the outside. The inside one still works so I have to drop the window and use the inside handle to get in the car. Not sure how to fix that but whipped the door panel off anyway. It was a little bit damp on the bottom so it's now drying on the rad. If anyone knows how to fix the outside door handle please let me know.

I also tried to whip the passenger door panel off too but I was beaten but a grumpy screw. I round I rounded the top so the screw driver just spins round. It's rhe one in the centre of the door bin. Tried brute force but couldn't budge it - as in hoping to snap off panel itself. I guess it needs drilling out now. I don't own a drill so I'll need to recruit an assistant. I wanted to change the door lock mechanism on this side. I already bought some vw part recommended by the forums. The part has been sat around for about 2 years waiting to go on. The problem with the passenger side is occasionally both door handles just stop working at the same time. So the door will not open at all. Last time it happened I had a passenger in the car so he had to climb over to get out of my side.

Both door handles on line stick. There’s a guide on 911uk on how to take them apart and remove the rod that corrodes and causes the problem.

I just bought 2 2nd hand handles off eBay for around 30 quid each.

Looks great ATM but those lights are letting the side down. Pay a man to polish them, please!

Its my tatty run about. Surely sprucing it up will be contradictory.

I did buy a pair of ambers which someone then converted to Zenon for me but one of the little white brackets broke off inside during shipping. Perhaps I can re-visit this little project.

My votes polish those headlights too, I think you can pay places a nominal fee for it - it borders into the unloved territory!

I've got an old headlight which I was playing around with developing a xenon conversion. I ended up buying some litetronics for a bargain price and upgrading with newer projectors so the project stalled/I got distracted. If you post a pic of the broken bit I might have a replacement which I can pop in the post to you.

PS car looks too clean clearly unused.

I have received the Certificate of Conformity from Porsche. I have sent this to the DVLA. Lets see what they say about exemption or not from the new Clean Air Zones.

They were quick. I asked for all 4 but they only sent me 3. I can upload the one for this car here.

Hopefully you can see the white part buried inside the back here - if you follow my finger.

So the white part in question is fixed to the Casing or screwed to it I think - not sure. I am only seeing this via removing the back panel which clips off and access is limited. So on the light or main reflector part which can move around it has a little ball which connects into that white part. So normally this would be some form of pivot - maybe for the level adjustment - dunno. But on mine a little piece of white plastic has come off that white thing and this means the ball isn't held in and therefore it's just loose and flapping around and so the whole light assembly is loose inside the Casing.

I hope that makes sense.

Not tried to fit it to the car, didn't see the point.

I've added a pretty picture of the front to inspire you all to fix it for me, please, pretty please....

I'm sure I've got that bit on the left of the above image, happy to forward it to you. It looks like you'll need to remove the front lense to fit it though, no way it can be fitted via the rear access panel. Hopefully not too big of a task given the front will have been off previously.

Brilliant

Yes that's the part I need. Either the white one or the almost white one. Are they screwed on?
