Aside from being pure Pron, what benefits does the new shifter give ?
The shift action is now fully adjustable, long to short throw and height, the action is now silky smooth & so very precise, the original sheet metal standard thing flexes like buggery! This doesn't wink plus an added bonus is that front box section keeps the passengers legs safely away from the gearshift on track when cornering.

Thanks for all the positive comments, was going very well today on track at anglesey, shifter was perfect, until it ate the clutch frown so that's a job before the next TD.

Are you looking at commercialising that shifter/handbrake design? You could probably charge a fee for the CAD files so it can be cut locally (I'm in Australia)

For people like myself who are sketching mid-engine scratch build designs it's a solution to a common problem.

I don't think Darren will ever make the cad file available, a lot of design work went into that wink

So we obviously needed a new clutch ....

What we didn't need was new suspension, however when a bargain appears....

You've got to go backwards to go forwards....

A 3AM finish on Saturday night but it was back together on Saturday morning so we could reset the geo and corner weight it..

It's a bit lardy but it does have full cage, extinguisher system and air jacks, along with three rads alone for the supercharger, so all in I don't think it's too bad, even with driver and passenger it's over 500bhp per ton smile

Just went through the entire thread again... mental, just mental! Awesome build and engineering going on. I can't wait to see what's up next.
Hopefully nothing! wink

That said, I would like to rip out the entire wiring loom and start from scratch, it's been cut about a bit. Then there's always a respray.....
