I don't know about Mike, but I've been getting on just fine with LPG. It's advantageous when the stations have run out of petrol and diesel so I can just swan in and fill up.
It doesn't stop others asking what I'm doing and whether or not it's the same as diesel. One girl tried fitting the nozzle in her petrol car despite my telling her it wouldn't work.

All good with LPG. They have crept the price up to £0.60ppl though over the last month the rotters. No mention of any lack of availability. Most independents collect their own LPG from refineries and distribute across their sites themselves having their own tankers and drivers. It’s all very simple and slick.
Oil change this week on Saturday by local garage, VAT reciept etc. Will report on cost but 30 minutes labour plus parts at trade.

The Highlands is quite a long way from Lincolnshire. How did your father get on with such a long journey? who is the enthusiastic passenger in the back? How did he teach him/her to wind down the window?
Mine was great up to the lakes and back. The highlands must be double?
Brown looks great.

Welcome to the club! That colour is quite rare!
Make sure you check your scuttles in the engine bay.
Thank you Sonos. Am pleased to be a proper member now. I didn't find the colour: it found me! I was looking for a cheap Duster as a farm and family runaround upon selling my 2019 Suzuki Jimny. The Brown One came up not too far away as a damaged/repaired Cat N for not much money so I found it too good to miss. Am very pleased so far. It feels like driving a Bentley compared to the Jimny. Looks like it will be frugal too (below 80 mph).Make sure you check your scuttles in the engine bay.

If you ordered that Jimny new, you're one lucky sod with their prices!
I did. But I did 30k miles in it so I suppose it ought to be the cheapest new Jimny for sale when it resurfaces. I thought I’d ride out the crazy prices with a cheap Duster. The Jimny was a charming little thing but no regrets so far.Edited by muchacho on Tuesday 5th October 13:41
