If you are keen on changing the bog standard radio its pretty easy to do.
I did it all in for roughly £100 and now have android auto and apple car play.
Have you considered any other mods?
LED Side repeaters etc? Can make the car look pretty smart with only a few changes

Could you give any more details of what you've done please? I want an Essential, but would really want Android Auto in it.I did it all in for roughly £100 and now have android auto and apple car play.

Sure! This should work fine for models up to this year, not sure about the latest ones because they have a new dashboard trim. The older ones all use 8inch head units, or 8 inch standard radios. Android auto is an absolute sinch to do, all you need is a headunit running android, for car play you need an external dongle.
A unit like this Has to be 8 inch to fit, look for ones with screw points exactly like the one listed. Android 10 is probably best.
Got a unit very similar to this
It came with a set like this, mine works with the steering controls no problem.
Installing it was a bit of trial and error because it doesnt come with a step by step guide but its as simple as just unplugging everything and plugging it all into the new one. but it works perfectly. Comes with 2 usb ports as well so can charge a device whilst using another.
To get android auto working on it, all you need do is pay for the Android Headunit Reloaded app, once its installed, plug your android phone in and android auto will boot straight up.

Calling Bi (fuel) Throbbers!
I’m pondering how this works whilst I await mine to be delivered. Does the car default to one particular fuel or does just stick with what is selected by the driver? Can you fully run out of petrol and run on LPG, or do you always need some petrol? If you run out of petrol will it switch to gas automatically and vice a versa? I know some LPG cars have to start on petrol then switch to gas. Any other quirks of LPG life I should know about.
I have the LPG.EU app ready on my phone to go.

You must have petrol in the tank, it starts on petrol and then switches over shortly afterwards. Mere seconds.I’m pondering how this works whilst I await mine to be delivered. It will remember if you were on LPG previously. If you run out of LPG it will switch to petrol.
As above, petrol needed in the tank. From cold start ( I mean snow on the ground overnight) it takes mine about 30 to 45 seconds to jump over to LPG. The rest of the day it takes 2 seconds at most. I think I’ve only used less than 1/2 tank of petrol in 9 months and 18k miles. If yours is the new LPG one then it will also have the proper LPG gauge on the dash too.

Good news, the dealer has a build slot for me now with an allotted chassis number and reckons end of Nov, early Dec is still no the cards. I wish there was some way to track the build on line.
Blimey, sound just like buying a 911!For those of you with height adjustable drivers seats, do you have a lever that you pull on the front right corner of the seat to make it go up and down?
If so, how many positions does it have, on the MCV it has high, medium and, I think low, but low is almost impossible to get it to click in to position. Certainly from medium if you pull the lever the seat drops further but then seems to stick on something. Just trying to work out if something isn't working correctly or now.
The manual is unhelpful as it just says pull the lever and adjust to the desired height.

If it’s anything like the Renault system in my wife’s wind it’s awful, pull the lever and drop straight to the bottom
Yes, its a body weight one rather than a crank handle. Pull the lever with no one sitting on the seat and it pops up to the highest position.I am guessing there is some sore of ratchet or detent that determines the height so going to have a crawl under the seat at the weekend to see how many notches there are.
