When I started reading this thread a couple of months ago, thought initially it was just another "my new car" post like most others. Nothing wrong with those, I like reading them but tend to pick and choose the ones I read in detail from the car mentioned in the headline.

Always been interested in the LFA so my attention was there from the start. Read the whole lot and without blowing any more smoke up your arse it gave me some food for thought.

Last week I saw a shop-window poster near to me from the local children's hospice. They are having a gala/fund-raising day in early May so I called and asked if they would like me to bring my 2017 UK Mustang so the kids and visitors could look around it, sit in it, rev it up etc.

They said that would be great so that's what I'll be doing in 3 weeks time!!

Just thought I'd let you know that by starting this thread you have made at least one person do something they wouldn't have previously considered.

Cheers.

Brilliant stuff and all thanks to good old PH and one of the best threads EVER clap
Great guy, have to agree that this is one of the best threads on PH, one of the few that hasn't turned to a "Focus RS vs" or a "I financed this for..." thread, or of course one that hasn't turned to a stshow for bickering.

Yeeees, didn’t know if anyone would get the reference.
I'm somewhat duty bound to acknowledge it.

Yeah it’s just a pre run before summer starts. Don’t worry Carlos & Giblet, you guys still get to go out in the LFA & CGT, probably be later this month if the weather keeps up.

No, still not drove it properly yet. Just took it to the lock up when I got it.

Your vehicles are brilliant, thanks for sharing your experience with them all.

One question has it ever appealed to ether build or get a sleeper car built? Something like a standard looking estate with a stonking great big engine.

How's your Zonda search going? Any others popped up for sale since your last post Pete?

No, I’m holding out for an ‘F’ as I don’t really like all the added fluff that comes on the ‘upgraded’ stock now.

Just an observation really but, I don't remember seeing any in this thread, are you curious about any of the hybrid supercars, 918, P1, La Ferrari, for example?

If not, any reason?

Clio v6 is many people's dream car, and considering the favourite car for the OP is a abarth I'm fairly confident your v6 carries a large appeal to most in this thread, don't do yourself down!
