I’d have changed the engine out. eBay the old one and bolt in a twin cam

NI and mainland UK are the same no?

It's the DVLNI in Northern Ireland.

As much as NI wants to be exactly the same as the rest of the UK there are subtle differences... like Driving licence agencies and abortion.

When I got points in England, they were not able to put them on my NI licence (in 2012).

Same rules in N.Ireland.

You cannot make a vehicle look newer than it is with an English age related plate.

You can with an NI one though but they don't lend themselves to good personalised number plates
