Congrats on being an Uncle, again thumbup

The E31 looks lovely and sounds like it's getting the care if needs
Thanks very much Dan - hope the car appreciates all this.
Nephew is nice as well biggrin

Great to get some updates on a great thread about a great car - are you actively selling or just haven't brought yourself around to listing it yet? I've often found it hard to let go cars when I know them well enough to fault-find so easily.

Pulled up to the garage and they were only working on an absolutely gorgeous Oxford Green 850CSi. Only around 1500 were made, 160 of which were RHD. It's 5.6 litres, 12 cylinders, manual, rear-wheel steering perfection.
There is beautiful one of these round the corner from my brother's house. I think when I checked the registration on VehicleSmart it had been laid up for over a decade. I've often kept an eye out for the owner's when passing but I doubt I could get them to part with it. Similarly, I could probably afford to buy but doubt I could muster the funds nor the best wishes from my wife towards restoring it. Shame to see it just sitting there on the drive with a cover over it.
Thanks for the kind words.
I do need to sell it but I plan to send it through an auction. Unfortunately every time I get ready something else needs fixing or another E31 is on the block. smash I think I'll get the wheels refurbed and then just be done with it!

According to the WhatsApp group the CSi are an entire level up in terms of running costs but are very nice to drive!

Personally I'd leave the wheels be; everyones taste is different and they're not expensive to do these days... But that's your call

Car & Classic auctions sold my Jap import E39 540i Sport with zero issues and all done and dusted within a week; I'd highly recommend them

But my advice would be to sort your own pictures and save yourself a few £hundred

A decent phone camera (iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Pixel 7/8 Pro etc) or a digital camera will soon have them sorted

You just need to take a lot; when I say a lot I mean like this lot (my previous C&C auction) laugh
