one of the only arguments me and my missus ever have is over where to go for the weekend. She loves Paris but I can't bloody stand the place and only ever go there if it's for work!
Yeah it’s a real crapshack. The existentialists of the past would be spinning in the graves (theoretically speaking) hahaferrisbueller said:
Odd really, that the 575 SA was so unloved. I remember being told back in the day by a dealer that they couldn't shift them.
Do you fancy a 550 Barchetta? Comedy roof aside (and the sadly clumsy roll hoops), they're a stunning thing.
I do like the 550 barchetta but it’s very impractical for this country. I fear that it’d never ever get any use. Do you fancy a 550 Barchetta? Comedy roof aside (and the sadly clumsy roll hoops), they're a stunning thing.

Ever thought of getting a PH meet together at the restaurant Pete? Super cars, classics, petrolheads and mixed grills all round? Bring a convoy of thunder to Alderney Edge
Nah too many wannabe fake posh s that would just mess the day up. I’d prefer to just do a meet up with all the guys here somewhere out in a country pub or something. 2manycars said:

Damn autocorrect changed Alderley. Is it really full of fakes there? I’ve only drove through a few times, but definitely feel that I don’t fit in..not even to stop for a mixed grill
Yeah I mean I live there so that says it all haha. The majority of people are bloody lovely but there are some that put everything on credit cards and finance then look down their nose at the guy next to them in an old car which they owe nothing on!!!! Very weird.

Hm, plastic money, not what I expected. If someone knows of the right pub(with large car park obviously) and feels like arranging something like this, I’m in.
There is a closed down pub near altringham were the M56 and A556 join which I always thought would be perfect for such events if someone bought and renovated, next to motorway and no residential areas near by be free of any noise complaint issues and loooads of parking space. G13NVL said:

What do you say Pete, fancy buying and refurbing a pub just to host your meet? All joking aside, the north would benefit for a petrolhead pub/venue similar to Ace Cafe or Caffeine & Machine.

It's got one... Squires.
Not been there in some time, used to occasionally frequent the Jap meet there but seems it’s gotten a bit too scene over the years. It’s a bit rough and ready in comparison to the places I mentioned too.
It's still filled with a bunch of stock Fiestas and scene kids on air, there's just enough interesting stuff to make it special.
Really, all you need is somewhere with lots of space to park during the day rather than a Tesco's car park in the middle of the night.
