Wow what a thread! Really did enjoy reading through the whole thing (I usually get bored before half way..!)
I love how no expense has been spared, and you have a fantastic car to show for it!! Has it been mapped yet?

Yes, my car has been fully mapped by Adrian Smith (Fensport). It is an interim level map, however, due to the fact that the final exhaust has not yet been fitted. This is scheduled to be done towards the end of October (due to availability of Adrian, and my global travels). Current power is circa 275-280bhp, at just over 7psi boost. Once the final exhaust has been fitted, and the boost can be upped, I am hoping for circa 300bhp. Whilst the boost levels may sound low, it must be remembered that the engine has a 12.5:1 compression ratio.
The standard GT86 is a lovely car, but like you said in an earlier post, it isn't nice to have a genuine 'sports car' which can be embarrassed by a repmobile or tacky hot hatch. Have to say that your car is pretty amazing, just about perfect? Would be interesting to hear a sound clip / video once that exhaust is fitted...
If you want I'll drive and you can record it on your phone?!

Op, absolutely stunning mate. Really enjoyed reading through this build. Ill be book marking this thread ; ) can't believe how stock the install under the bonnet looks. Awesome work.
Oh and the wheels really suit the motor ; )
It must be a great feeling to have something different and unique to you. Sod the money, life is too short.
I've seen a few videos from tuners in the States doing big power builds. I believe Motortrend and tuned on the drive channel have tested a couple. Lovely cars and go really well. I think one of be big builds suffered with heat soak. How does yours cope over here (extremely hot ambient temp when they were testing)?

Bravo on embracing the ethos of the GT86 and just getting on and making the base product into exactly what you want (and to hell with the warranty!).
Not many people would be willing to part with £40k for a factory turbocharged GT86, so it's great when the approach of offering a cheap basic model for people to make their own gets regonised by people like you and done properly. After all, adding power is easy, creating a well balanced RWD chassis is not!

Time for a small update
I have never been a great fan of the silver trim on the interior
So, as my car approaches its first birthday, I decided it was time for a small interior facelift. The Australian spec GT has black trim components where the European one is silver, so I ordered the parts from Japan, and have changed them:
