Brilliant collection...and great tastesmile.

My one BM V10 was an M6. I picked it up at the factory in 2006 and drove straight to Hartge to get it delimited. right off the plane from Canada. Bad ides...I fell asleep on the autobahn and almost hit the wall when I woke up on the way to Hartge. Took a while to hack everything...250km/h and 305 km/h and then we were free......it was fund at 4am...see speedo....

Thanks for keeping your thread updated MrTouring.
A pleasure - never sure if anyone reads it but I always enjoy a thorough update!

By comparison most Z4MCs tended to be some shade of silver, grey or black and I'm yet to see one with Bi-colour seats. Maybe that's one of the reasons for the difference in values.
I agree - Z4Ms should have been the biz but just don’t seem to have worked out in the same way - maybe because the 3 had already shocked us all perhaps?

Partly that, and the Z4MC didn't stand out quite the same in terms of styling or colour combinations!

Although I wouldn't say no to an Imola Red one with Sepang leather if I had the budget. rolleyes

Good work in the garage, looks ace. Love the illuminated Porsche sign. You need a BMW one now too!

We picked that up at the classic car show before realising we’d parked about 2 miles from the NEC!

It was a long walk back to the car - but finally worth it!

I’d like to praise your decision to go OEM on the breadvan bushes.

Same reason I went Bilstein - I like my teeth!

Although saying that the kw V3 on my Clio are not too firm. Very firm but not too firm

It's not just your teeth, it's steering and handling precision and predictability.

Ordered this bit with a stainless work surface and then I think we’re done.

Also a couple more 911s (of the 1:18th variety) as now my models are in the Cabinet I can see the gaps!

we seem to have (slightly disturbingly) similar tastes in cars....

Wow.

Not always a massive BMW fan but am always a massive fan of quick estates. The M5 was stunning, couldn’t really get much better than that except for the Z3M which is the one BMW I’d really lust after.

Brilliant collection.

Thank you and Agreed - BreadVan was the only thing I’d sell my M5 for!

So having just returned from 1100 miles of European touring I have to say this machine is fantastic.

- Very very quiet, refined and comfy
- Indecently quick when needed
- vast boot and roof box swallowed Everything (including 4 body boards!)
- 36mpg (not bad with box)

Everything you’d want from a family wagon - love it!

Another small mod for the Clio: yellow seatbelts to brighten the cabin and continue the yellow theme.

Think they work well

Then had a look at defunct wipers: motor actually seemed fine so took linkage off and it’s completely seized - can’t move it at all

So while that’s soaking in WD-40 a chance to clean the scuttle and have a tidy up

So either the linkage is unseized tomorrow or it’s into Ebay......

Just like yours, black, plus pack, pan roof, went a month or so ago ... I'll miss its effortless pace and handling
