C63 AMG 507 edition wide arch project

Awesome result, how it should've looked from the factory, looks wild but without looking like a max power leftover!
I must admit that I did have my own concerns about the project..... there is a fine line between a massive fail or success, getting it right is hard to do, having total confidence in the company your using helps, but this wasn't like just changing wheels or painting it the wrong colour... the wide arch work was my biggest concern. Thanks again for all the comments guys.
I've not really had much chance to do anymore to the car until today as I'm now forced into lockdown. So Now the full detailing has started... I've got at least 2 weeks off so this is getting the works....
Full Engine detail
Full interior leather detox and protect
Machine polish the piano black trims and protect
Wheels off detail to the arches, suspension and protection followed by a Ceramic coat on brake disc, hubs and calipers.
Wheels have already been Coated
Full detox clean to the glass followed by a glass coating.
The only thing I cant do it is a ceramic coat on the paint as its only a few weeks since painted and the decals have yet to be fitted and then some PPF to the lower sections and the arches
Here are some shots of the engine bay detail today.

Looks seriously clean, love how much you plan to clean and detail it!
Any shots of the engine in a wider shot including body work, I'd love to see the engine cover in that context. I suspect itd look a lot more fitting. (Dont get me wrong, I love it, would just be interested in seeing how it ties in with everything else.)

hey buddy, yes your right,,, it does look far better in contrast with the rest of the car in shot... today is interior day but will get some other shots of the car/engine.
I'll be back later with some more details of the interior process too
Look forward to it mate, hat off to you and your attention to detail.I'll be back later with some more details of the interior process too
So Today was the full interior detail.
To start off the car had a good vacuum out before doing anything, then first up on the list was to mask up around the black piano trim so I could polish it to remove the very fine marring.![](https://thumbsnap.com/sc/UCr956ky.jpg)

Next up, I cut some sponge from one of my medium grade polishing pads to apply the polish. and my chosen polish was Flex Micro Cut/ anti hologram polish, I chose this rather than a glaze like AutoGlym SRP as I wanted a permanent fix.

next up applied the polish, I had to do each panel twice to get a good enough finish that I was happy with, then remove all the tape, and wipe down with some Carpro Eraser. before applying some Gyeon Cancoat for some protection.

Now done with the Piano trims, gave the interior a good vacuum again to remove any dust from the polishing stage and then cleaned the leather with a ColourLock Cleaner, then applied some ColourLock Leather protector to finish. then 1 last vac out before wiping down the plastics with some Citrus APC and then applied some Carpro Pearl at 1/5 for a final finish.

[quote=Fleckers]I have just read this
WOW
£11k for the kit and paint is about half what I was guessing
It’s a real pity you have to keep the front number plate as imho it spoils the front end look
Are you keeping the rear lights or can you get dark lights fitted ?
[/quote
Hey Buddy, the front plate is either stay stock or go with a Vinyl sticker style but i'm not really a fan of that, I have ordered some new plates and will just stick them on with 3M tape so I can lose the fixings
as for the rear lights I've had them lightly tinted but wouldn't want them any darker.

Great project, looks exactly how it should have left the factory in the first place!
Can you dye some of the interior stitching, would look great with some green accents...
I have thought about that too tbh, but all the interior is complete black so wouldn't take a dye other than the AMG logo's in the car mats. I have thought about having the steering wheel refurbed with the centre band done in green... but not sure on that yet.Can you dye some of the interior stitching, would look great with some green accents...
