Headed down to Mimms this weekend, had a great time and looking forward to Japfest next month.

I met up with a few guys on the way and Sean took a few convoy pictures.

These arrived Monday, take a guess what's inside..

They're finally here, I'll get the tyres mounted the weekend.

Got the camera out after work this morning.

Soo happy with how it's looking now!

Although you can see in the last picture that the tyres are catching the rear arches so I haven't been able to drive it hard yet.

I've ordered an arch roller and they should be sorted before Japfest hopefully!

Since this thread went up I keep browsing EK9's, and since I recently bought a mountain bike my brain is now telling me to sell the S2000 and buy one, rather a)seeing if the bike rack.I have fits my car or b) spend 80quid on a new one if not.

Man maths can be a terrible thing hehe
S2K is probably still depreciating slightly, whereas an EK9 will never lose any money. What you're doing, really, is making a sensible investment.

You're welcome.
Sell the mountain bike and S2000, problem solved! smile

The car looks perfect, so clean and simple.

I know you said you haven't been able to push the RSR's but how are you finding them? About to order a set of four.
I rolled my arches last week and I haven't updated this yet but went to Japfest, Castle Combe this weekend and they were super, even with the showers and no geometry set up yet.

Looks amazing on the TE37 mate.
Cheers Dan, I didn't see you at Japfest?

I moved the alarm siren this afternoon, it was previously in the bay on show and looked out of place.

It had to stay passenger side as the bonnet sensor is in the same loom and is next to the light, although the washer bottle was in the way.

After trying it in a few places and test fitting the bumper back on, I found if fitted to the crash bar it didn't foul and was protected from rain.

I had to extend the loom inside the car but it's now tucked neatly away.

My new tyres were catching the rear arch, I stiffed up the back and raised it slightly but on hard cornering it was still catching.

So I ordered an arch roller and crossed my fingers. It went well with no cracks to the paint and minimal actual flare to the arches.

I didn't fold the lip right back as it wasn't needed and I was super scared about the paint.

It turned out well and is no longer rubbing when driven hard!

what a special car!!

think it looked far cooler on the steelies however, i would have banded them VERY sightly to get them bait wider and used the RSRs on them.... PERFECT.

beautiful car OP, really makes me see what the current crop of Hot hatches just don't have anymore....
The TEs are much lighter that the steel wheels but if I used it for commuting I would pop some decent road tyres on them instead. They can hold 195s.

I found a picture of the Civic at Castle Combe last weekend on Facebook.

Sean Robinson Photography offered to take some pictures of the current progress on the Civic so I met up with him at a nice location one evening.

His pictures are used by SlamMedia and asked if I would like to be featured, to which I agreed so I sent him the spec list and he wrote a few words.

The feature can be found here:

This is my favorite picture from the shoot.
