My mates footage. First session in atrocious wet conditions. I never seem to get overtaken when it's wet

Later on in the day chasing m3's, scooby, evo etc! Did well!

Here's another one. This time trying to keep things as smooth as possible and it felt quite nice! Wasn't very fast though at about 2:30 a lap.
Look out for the Cayman GT4 and Caterham spinning

It would be quite difficult to prove that both cars are the same seeing as there's no evidence to suggest that it's my own car I'm using in the trackday videos. Also it only says that the car cannot be used for racing or time trials which a trackday is neither of.

I've never understood the whole warranty thing because you could drive like an absolute bellend on the road if you really wanted to (and many people do late at night) or you could drive smoothly on a track and get penalised? Seems silly to me. Sure you shouldn't be racing a car and then claiming a new gearbox at the end if the season under warranty sure.
Look guys I get that there are better cars out there but for what I use and need it for it IS the best car for me..
Sure a Cayman Gt4 is faster but it's not better because I can't afford one! (Well actually the missus wouldn't let me have one lol)
Pity view? There's some good action from Snetterton on there!

Have always thought the Polo GTI looks fantastic. Not many on the road either compared to the Fiesta ST which is everywhere.
The residual valves also look very good which must be a huge plus for owners.
Yes it might not be as sharp as the ST but it just looks very classy.
Nice car
Those are precisely the reasons I didn't get the ST. At the time they didn't make a 5 door either...The residual valves also look very good which must be a huge plus for owners.

Here's some footage off of my mates youtube channel. Interesting bit is at 16:45 with the BMW compact that keeps making mistakes as he doesn't want to let me by https://youtu.be/TQG1BMh-ysA

Really like these. They pull well. Nearly bought one but wanted something engaging to drive.
Drive it faster There's always the aftermarket for that as VW always set their cars up a bit safe. Which unless you are a racing driver is no bad thing! I think the sports pack is a must for these as without it they are a little dull and rolleyand it really helps to sharpen it up on track or when the mood suits!
Just realised I hadn't posted this up..

Got into a bit of a battle with an evo, glanza and Ep3 (they were all modified, the ep3 has around 220-240bhp)
Little VW did well!

Probably because the first time i drove one on a track I wasn't that overwhelmed either. But as I've got to know it better I've adapted to how its different to all my other "drivers cars"
(Clio 172, Twingo 133, Saxo vts, 106 gti) and have found its good but in its own way.
It's also quicker than most of the other cars in its class but the majority of the magazine/youtube reviews seem to not be able to accept this even though most independent companies have found them to be even faster than the claimed figures 0-62 6.7 147mph (which are already quicker than cars such as the fiesta 6.9 139mph) but still we have BS drag races by mags etc on youtube that have them exactly the same when in reality these will do a 6.3 to 60 mph quite happily so how can they be the same?
I also spent months looking into which small hot hatch I preferred so it does sort of bug me when people say "ooh it's not as good as a fiesta/clio/208/abarth/corsa"
I do get however that people are different and like different things however.

Missing the stubborn BMW that slowed himself and me down by not getting out of the way. My mate Adrian is just sending it to me now.
