What do/did you do for a living?
I own the largest commercial utility broker in the UK, with the profits I buy houses in north Manchester and return approximate a 12% yield. With the profits from this I reinvest in more houses and cars.

I drive a Golf R so you aren't quite there yet matey biglaughwink

Fantastic collection by the way thumbup
Thank you, and just for the record. I know that Golf R kid is getting some stick but they are fantastic cars and he’s doing something right in getting one of those. Is it faster than an LFA? Probably if tuned correctly and big turbos strapped to it. And all for a fraction of the cost, seems like he’s the smart one out of the two of us haha.
Anyway I don’t believe in how much someone splashes on a car, especially if they can’t drive it or handle the power. If he can properly drive that Golf R then it’s a very dangerous weapon. Kudos to him I say.

When do you expect to actually have the LFA in your hands ?

Please post as many pics as possible when it happens.
I’m just organising collection from Joe Macari by Topaz Car Detailing via Sigita (great service). There they will sand the car down and then polish it back to its original glory. Below is a few pictures of what they’ve done to mine so far. As it’s fast approaching winter, I’m in no rush to get it as it’ll be tucked away in my storage unit along with the rest.

So I mean, your username is 2manycars but literally every one of them is something to aspire to or dream to own so I don't think 'too many' applies here biggrin

I bloody love the LFA, might be my favourite car ever. The sound and the engineering, it's just too much of a good thing.
Well if you’re ever in Cheshire then I’m happy to take you out in it, or any other car in the collection

What do/did you do for a living?
I own the largest commercial utility broker in the UK, with the profits I buy houses in north Manchester and return approximate a 12% yield. With the profits from this I reinvest in more houses and cars.
Whilst I admire your passion for cars and willingness to share your passion, also your success in business. The one question I have to ask is why the houses, when is enough, enough?
Because although I’m in this game to make money, I also try to share the wealth. I charge those that can afford it, and discount those that struggle with it. My company sponsors numerous different things, but not directly as most of the money you give is swallowed up in admin fees. We decided long ago to give the whole month of December rent free so people could get their loved ones presents, or just simply get on top of their bills. I’m currently purchasing an old retired nursing home so I can get it back up to the standards they were some 20 years ago (serviceablity wise, obviously not technically as we’ve surpassed that threshold). And ‘give’ those spaces to the most vulnerable. Hopefully give the kind of service both my grandmothers never received. I’m not saying what I’ll do will make any impact on the private health service, but it’ll make me sleep better at night knowing some of the older generation can be taken care of. So to answer your question. That’s why enough is never enough for me, the more I get, the more I have to give back. If you’d like to volunteer or get involved in anyway then please contact me. I never ask anyone for money as that means sod all, instead time and effort is a bigger commodity for me.
Cheers
Pete

I would love to have a ride in it before you drive it back up North , if you're offering.. :-)
Ask one of the service guys to take you out in it, I have no problem with that. Just say that I have permission. If they need clarification then they can call me.

Amazing collection you have there. The LFA is also one of my favourites due to my love for naturally aspirated engines. Very nice of you to share your collection and help keep the dreams and hopes of others alive.
Through all your life experiences, what would you say is your main priority in life, how did you passion for cars come about and what inspires you?
Hmmm, it’s a tough one as I’ve done so much in my life. I think the biggest thing I’ve ever done is be officially brain dead on the operating table for just over a minute. I can tell you that nothing happens, like literally nothing. It’s just black, just as in closing your eyes. That puts things into perspective. Before my tumour I NEVER ever wanted children, now I’ve got a beautiful 2 year old daughter and I’m planning on more next year. This is just my personal opinion and I might be totally wrong but I don’t believe the key to happiness is success, I think it’s to do with simply being happy in that moment.
Funny story, before my tumour I was hell bent on being a mega rich millionaire hence working myself into the ground. Yeah I had decent cars like Aston’s & Bentleys. But these were high mileage, second/third hand, riddled with problems. So I could look like a big shot. After my surgery none of that stuff mattered, so I let go of it. Releasing that pressure you put on yourself makes everything better. Now I’m not sure where my money comes from, but it does, and I don’t even focus on it. As long as my family are happy and I’m not hurting anyone then that’s all that truly matters. I’m not greedy, I’m happy to share my wealth but most importantly I’m happy to share my experiences. So yeah, I guess that’s the one best piece of advice I could give. Stop searching for the next best thing and be happy in YOUR moment.

Amazing stuff 2MC. Especially as one of my family members is currently battling a brain tumour so it really puts life and possessions into perspective. I hope you enjoy your cars for many more years to come, and please continue sharing your experiences!

One quick question, do you ever track any of your cars? I am planning on doing my second ever trackday this month and I am totally hooked, I love the idea of being on track and having something like an LFA firing past me at full noise. What an experience that would be. If you ever head to Oulton Park, pop a message on the thread and I would come to watch for sure.
I’m truly sorry to hear about your family member battling a brain tumour. It really is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with. The brain is the bodies computer. When my tumour started pushing on my 3rd ventricle and was blocking my CSF, my bodies only reaction was to have a stroke. Nasty times. Being physically fit before the operation will definitely help your relative. It’s one less thing for the brain to worry about.
I’ve only just started doing track days hence why I’ve just come back from Ferrari’s test track in Fiorano where I did the corso pilota. It was great spending a few days thrashing the 812 and 488 around the track. Attached is a picture of me looking liking a sponsored sperm ha.

OP, although I don't know you, I admire you for seizing the opportunity after your recent health scare to do some postive things. IMO, you're a bit like the Secret Supercar Owner from Evo, though not "secret" by any means now. You've got great taste & whilst I might be shot down by some, the LFA & Aston V12S are cars I'd have if I ever won the Lotto given the noise they make.

Well done for sharing your passion on PH & keep the posts coming as you go through picking up the new cars & uncovering the 250 wherever it is....,
A big thank you for those kind sentiments. Yeah those cars have always been favourites of mine, especially the Aston which I’ve had fitted with the one-77 derived exhaust. So hopefully it’ll sound amazing. I’ll post some pictures when I take delivery of it.

You have a wise head on young shoulders.

Sometimes it takes a life changing event to trigger other things to happen in you're life.
You young man are doing it right. Well done and carry on as you are please.
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you kindly. I guess you’re correct. It does take a life changing event for us to see things differently. My phone use to be full of heavy metal and rap songs, now it’s full of Disney songs like Frozen. That’s because they make my daughter happy, which in turn makes me very happy.
I’m happy to keep sharing my story/journey I just don’t want to bore people.

Lots of super cars there, now have you got a dream car, the one that would just hit the spot the others can't reach?

Mine would be a classic Ferrari.
(Then very much keep an eye on it!)
I do, and it should be here before I get married next August.
I’m buying a 1964/65 DB5 Vantage pack in silver birch so I can drive up to the highlands with the wife the day after our wedding. It’s either this or the Zonda C12S that Franco (Joe Macari) is trying to find me at present. However I don’t think another Supercar is really needed, whereas a classic David Brown car is always needed ha.

Top man 2MC. Would love to take you up on your kind offer of a paasenger ride in the LFA, I’m on the other side of the Pennines but more than happy to nip across once it’s road legal biggrin

Where did your love of cars come from? Are there any “regular” cars from your childhood that you still want to own? I’ve recently bought a 1986 Honda Civic to restore as we had one as our first family car.
Yeah that’s not a problem at all. I’ll can pretty much guarantee that it won’t be seeing the road anytime this year. It’s going over to Topaz Car Detailing this coming week. They’re still doing my 695 biposto at the moment, then they’ll be reapplying the PPF to my Aperta as I wanted a level 5 detail but only asked for a level 2. My fault, my mistake yet they are honouring the work they’ve done for me already and knocking off that cost from the level 5. That’s the kind of company they are, absolutely fantastic from start to finish. After that they’ll be doing a level 5 on my M2, then it’ll be the LFA. So that’s at least 5-8 weeks there but before then you’re more than welcome to come over and we can take the 675lt out or the M2 before it goes off to get detailed.

My love for cars came from my mum, she used to own an MOT station and repair garage before she sold it to buy a jewellery shop. Plus my brothers both worked for Pendragon Mercedes so they helped my mum get an SLK230 when they very first came out. From there I started to appreciate cars, when my Dad got his first Lexus LS400 I started to understand them. And then I saw my uncles MK2 Jag and just needed to know everything about cars and car design.
Below is a picture of me and my favourite car I’ve ever owned before I got my fiat.
