Sorry to hear about your mate. Lovely purchase there, just wait for the hints from family/friends/neighbour's about what a great car it would be to take their kids to prom.

Enjoy it thumbup

Shows, horribly uncomfortable for me, would never do one, even arriving at hotels on a rally i park as discreetly as possible and cant get away from my car quick enough hehe

Even arriving back at the car i make sure the coast is clear, we are very different to most lambo owners though & each to their own.

Car looks lovely btw, even next to the Av it holds its own imo.
Yeah funny you should say that as I have two rules when I visit car shows; do not make eye contact with anyone and never, ever look interested in a car because the owner will invariably bore the life out of you

No updates really, apart from I got a laser cut wooden Lamborghini wall sign in place of the Renault one which went

(looks a lot tighter than it actually is)

The bodywork (paint) looks to be in fantastic condition for an 18 year old car. I particularly like the first photo.
Do you get lots of interest from the neighbours, or have they got used to seeing it now? What about any young lads, do they bring their friends around for a look see?
Thanks all, really appreciate it. Also, it still gets admiring looks from everyone, and have even had people follow me to the shops to ask me for a photo of their son/daughter in/near it - which I'm always more than happy to allow. Neighbours wise, I think the novelty has now worn off but delivery day was certainly something I'll never forget!

And the colour is much better in real life too, as it's pearlescent whereas the photos look as though it's flat yellow.

And yeah, it'll just be connected to my CTEK until the weather improves.

I've heard a few things although with it only being a few months I just left 60 miles in the tank and left the tyres alone - it's suited me well in the past (coincidentally with the Toyota V6 someone has mentioned they have, in the rain to as opposed to a nice warm garage!)

Again, no actual car update but a mate of mine recently bought me this which now sits on top of a Gallardo sales brochure:

Plans for the actual car are likely going to be a Larini backbox and 200-cell cats in the summer

This arrived too for my downstairs bog. It replaces the Clio V6 poster that is now the border laugh

Probably needs a better frame so I'll keep my eye out for a better one

Thanks both, I admit I do love the shape. I don't think it has a bad angle in it!

Anyway, got the plates fitted so as to avoid a fine

I'm sad, I know.

the Larini cats have been delivered ready for fitting next year

Ouch. Turns out the car needs some new exhaust clamps at, and I st you not, £2.5K. It also needs an oil filter housing gasket at, again I st you not, £800.

Anyway, it's all getting done and JM Imports really know their stuff. They've some seriously impressive customer (and owners) cars there!

Some photos they sent me

Should get it back in about 6 weeks which gives me time to save up to pay for it all.

The only reason they're that price is because they're from Lamborghini.

The Hill Engineering ones have a 5-6 lead time unfortunately!

Ouch, hopefully that'll be the last big bill for a while.

Car still looks fab, any plans for the summer with it?
I'm working with them to see if they can get the cost down, but we shall see. Plans are get it out more, a few classic car shows and a couple of spirited drives so I can hear that V10!

"sadly", the numbers don't work for me. I'd be better off getting the cheapest possible pre-LP and hoping the cat's fine, and just suck up the £5k per year servicing bill for a couple of years.
If it helps, I'll be moving this on next year at some point (maybe)

Wow thanks SpecJunkie I had no idea it has been in the limelight before! Maybe I’ll get in touch with them for the images!

And not heard the Larini cats just yet, but can’t bloody wait!
