I want one.

In fact, I want two, so I can drive the second one a bit more sensibly after spanking the first one.

That looks fantastic. I saw somewhere recently the same car parked front on to the f1. I was amazed how small the Caterham looked.

Is this the Duratec engined 500?

Hey Mike,

It is the fully endorsed F1 Colour Scheme, so its the same colours as the current Team Lotus F1 team cars!!

And Yes it is the R500 Duratec with the 263 BHP 2.0 Duratec engine!!

Thanks, the number plate should of course read R500 TL, for R500 Team Lotus

However as it was prepped and first registered by Caterham Cars, so they have covered themselves by putting the plate exactly as it is registered, IE R50 OTL.

I am sure a new plate will be along soon!!

Looks great! If I were you (which obviously I'm not) I'd get a cut rear plate up so it is only the width of the yellow stripe...

Looks great Mr. Pugh, but the most important question is...
How does Tom like it? smile

Thanks, he has already been pretending to drive it whilst sat in the garage.

The rain stopped play yesterday, s I hope it cheers up today.

Then keep a look out for a new Video of Tom on YouTube!!

Will do - I believe that Tom is now a bit of a minor international celebrity amongst the Seven crowd thanks to your YouTube postings from your previous 7! thumbup

Thanks yes Toms video does seem to be very widely traveled!!

A lot of is down to the Youtube video, but also a big thanks to Caterham Cars for featuring it on the CC Main Website too.

I also think the guys who picked it up on StreetFire helped to promote it in the US too!!

That is one of the finnest examples of a caterham i have seen. Did you build it or was it built by the factory.
