Think they already are to be honest, there are still a lot about but decent 225 coupes are going to be sought after, Sports already are, not sure on 180s, Cabs and the V6.
The prices are already on the riseI saw a 2003 225 with 50k miles make almost £5000 at a trade auction recently

I didn't know you could get them in Nogaro! It looks great - miss mine, despite it being rather fragile (and having an ATROCIOUS ride)
Audi have been doing custom colours for buyers for at least 20 years if you were happy to pay, It was not advertised for a long time thou.Love the Mk1 looks so much cleaner / better balanced than the new TT
This thread sent me off to the Classifieds and I think the OP got a bargain. There's only one other example in Noggy that I can see and it's more than twice what OP paid (althought it is a Roadster). The good examples certainly don't seem to have depreciated a penny in the past couple of years (I sold my 52 plate 225 Roadster for £3200)
Sorry, just checked in and can see I've had some replies.
All is going well with my first month of ownership, I haven't even started looking for my next car yet so it's already going better than my last ten or so cars. I'm really enjoying owning, driving and generally just giving it admiring glances.
The fact that all servicing is up to date and it needs nothing mechanically has meant a bit of head scratching.
Turns out nogaro was a £2750 option, Ay, caramba!
Anyway with nothing to do I went to get the wheels balanced, just because, and it turns out one of the wheels is cracked so that will give me food for thought.

Been looking at these a lot recently with intention of building one into a safe track car for my wife as she won't drive the noble lol... I'm trying to get my head around the difference between the 225 and V6.... Is the V6 as tuneable as the 225?
No not at all, this has had a simple forge remap and is already at 260bhp. The v6 sounds great, well it did in my old r32, but it's heavy and very restricted tuning wise unless you want to spend thousands on f.i.It's nice to see the TT getting a little appreciation on here for a change, and it does look awesome in Nogaro! I would have loved to have found a stand-out colour when I was looking, (Imola yellow, cassis, java green, merlin purple or papaya were my dream colours), but I went for condition over colour and ended up with the blandest combination you can get: silver, black leather, standard 9 spoke alloys!
It looks a proper head turner in that blue!
The missus had a lovely 2002 TT 225 Roadster in yellow, it was remapped too so it proper flew compared to the smart roadsters we used to have! Used to love being in it! Had a few niggles with it like the 1inch window drop issue and she also parked the front end on a kerb, reversed off it in panic and ripped the front bumper apart! She got rid of it when an engine issue started and Audi wanted a Grand to sort it. I'd still have another though.

Still enjoying the TT.
The BBS wheels were really bugging me. The ch are a great design and suit the mk1, but these are replicas... I hate fake stuff. The quality is always questionable.
The car had a rough ride and I blamed it on the ebaich springs. Feeling ever bump in the road.
Well it turns out it wasn't the road that was the problem but the wheels.
I mentioned earlier about the crack in one of them here it is
Ideally I'd have liked to replace the wheels with a genuine set of ch's, buying a new set would have cost almost as much as the car, so I decided to see what I could get used.
I found some great wheels at a great price with some useable Ad08's.
Compomotive TH 1880
So this is how she looks at the moment. I must say I quite like them but I'm sure some may prefer the bbs
The rough ride has improved greatly. And all speed shakes disappeared totally.
