Pains me to say, but the mk2's and vr6 get more pampering than the tdi or the 1.8t!

But one day its time will come!

Ahh found the thread to book mark as I used to follow your Passat thread. I've picked up a silver mk4 golf like yours, but more miles. Already degunked the bay and am wet vac-ing the interior. Tidied out a ton of damp mush from the arch liner. I'm looking foward to bringing mine up to standard but has a few chips on the paint and a dented arch and sill (i'm getting that fixed professionally with a new sill).

Yours looks lower than mine - is that on eibach springs or H&R per chance? Recommend?

Good stuff, get some pics up.

Yes, the Golf is sitting on -30mm Eibachs with Bilstein B4's.

Since I last updated this, I've gifted the Passat to my eldest Son who loves it and I'm back in a company car after many years of happy shedding.

I mostly ignore threads on performance cars in here and spend my time reading ‘shed’ related threads instead.
I’m not sure if you can call yours a shed, but you get my meaning.
I’ve bought basically the same car in October as a winter hack to take mine off the road. Just done all new friction material and upgraded to 312mm discs and carriers this week. Switched over the the summer tyres (Eagle f1 asy 3’s). It doesn’t half stop!
It’s looking like it might be getting given to my dad as his flywheel might be on the way out on his blue b5.5. 220k on original clutch and flywheel as far as we know!
They just ...hang around don’t they?
