That looks fantastic. Allthough that last photo is a bit freaky with the young girl in the back?

That's my daughter making a face. She was in the passenger seat. As it is a two-seater if she was in the back now THAT would have been freaky wink

Can't help but feel short changed because of the standard B58 which is available in a much cheaper car. Maybe if they used an M2 upgraded spec with better rods etc. At least then you know it's got something that bit more special. Especially for 55k. Can't see them selling many of these.

That’s the problem as I see it, if you want spend 50k on a sports car and look at a BMW interior just get the M2

Cars are strange emotional things. I've never looked at a BMW and always loved Supras having had a MKIV years ago.

So for me, even though apparently I'm getting a BMW by proxy, the Supra is great. It is fun to drive and a comfortable place to sit. The entertainment system is painful and still not activated and Apple Play doesn't work as Supra Connect (which is BMW connect) needs to be switched on somehow on the server.

boxst, you are so right!

I had a couple of Capri 2.8is back in the 80s and thought about a Supra 2 as a replacement, but that was when insurance went silly so I had "boring" cars for a while.

5 years ago I bought a BMW Z4 Coupe because I loved how it drove and the styling with the "double-bubble" roof looked great.

And as much as I am a BMW fan, I definitely prefer the latest Supra that has a similar roof shape to my Z4C to the current Z4 that is convertible only - just a shame neither has offered a manual gearbox (yet)!

Did you have a Boxster previously (from your username guess so?), if so how does the drive compare?

Must be a record. Selling after 10 days and trying to get 4k more than you can get a brand new one for.

I hope it doesn’t come with that scary child in the back otherwise you will have nowhere to put anything.

If you wanted a sports car and bought an M2, you wouldn't have a sports car. You'd have a fast, hatchback-based coupe.
